To start off I'm only giving it a star because I have too. This dunkin donuts is very conveniently close to my house and it is on my way to work, but I will have no problem going out of my way to a different one just to not give them my business. I've always had hard/difficult experiences with these people who work in there, but I haven't made it my routine until the last two weeks or so to go every morning.
They always realize that they have to charge two separate times because they have done it wrong.
They are far from friendly. In fact, horribly rude and usually doesn't answer you or ignores you. There is a gentlemen there, he is a little older and he has screamed at me for asking if they had something.
My food is always burnt, but I am at work and I don't take it back. Also, they are very rude while I'm just ordering my food. Let alone if I bring it back to them. Not worth it to me.
The coffee is 50/50 if it going to taste good. Yesterday mine tasted perfect. Today I am stuck with a large Pumpkin Spice mocha latte that tastes like they just pumped way too much flavoring into it because they don't care.
These people act like YOU are bothering THEM. You wouldn't think these people are running a business. Shame on you. I thought that one day was just a bad day for them. I get it, it happens. but this is a routine for them. I run a small business, and no matter what, my customers get a smile. I do not treat them like they are some kind of annoyance. Again, shame...
Read moreI went inside this Dunkin Donuts to place an order at 20:20 on Friday, Systems 9th. I ordered the $2 medium iced coffee (promotion on a poster) with one donut. The gentleman (Older Indian gentleman) behind the counter got the items. I had a $20 bill pulled out for payment. He looked at the bill and said the total was $5.00.(even) I looked at him and looked over his shoulder to see the price of the donut which was $1.89 plus tax. A $2 iced coffee plus $1.89 plus the Illinois sales tax of 6.25% plus 1% for food equals .28 cents which equals $4.17. I was going to question him on why he was charging me $5 but wanted to see what his end game was. He walked over to the register on the far left hand side. I peeked over to see that he just pressed a bunch of buttons to make it beep a couple of times and opened the register to give me $15 in change with no receipt. I took the cash and decided not to argue over this because people like this need to be called out for ripping people off. I will also file a complaint with the corporate office.
Either this guy skimmed the owner by not ringing up my order or he is the owner who is pocketing cash transactions to possibly not report them for tax purposes. Either way, he ripped me off and who knows how many people he ripped off besides me.
Also, the donut was hard as a rock but the iced coffee was...
Read moreBeen having a lot of trouble lately at almost all Dunkin donuts getting an iced mocha latte made right. But today's was literally black.....I think they forgot to put any milk in it and the "espresso" tasted like yesterdays old coffee. Undrinkable. That seems to be the new trend for Dunkin donuts in the area. Why don't they give a receipt anymore? Because they don't want you to fill out a survey. The place is charging Starbucks prices yet they can't consistently make a drink taste the same more than once. Specifically at this location, they are in such a rush in the morning that they should screw up. Nobody can slap together a latte in 2 seconds, yet that is what they are trying to do. 2 locations in elk Grove make it right 90% of the time. The ones at Meacham and biesterfield and Arlington heights Rd and biesterfield. They seem to care more about your drink than flying through the order and going to...
