I used to work here, 8 years ago, my first job, you're gonna want to read this. One star automatically simply based on my experiences here before and during the time I worked here. Before working here the food was always stale, the biscuits were old, and the inside lobby was always filthy. I came in recently and there's no cameras in their back. In general I wouldn't eat anywhere where the kitchen isn't properly supervised by either surveillance or someone responsible and trustworthy. Ill elaborate, when I worked here I was doing prep and I kid you not, the cook on duty sneezed HARD all over the chicken on the breading tub. He sees me look at him and he just SMILES! Like nothing happened, Unbelievable! I was truly at a lost for words like wow, I told the manager on duty and she didn't care either. This is not a joke, she seriously did drugs or something her teeth were falling out, falling apart, and she was about 30. They STILL sold the chicken. This had to be the worst place I've ever worked at, in every way possible, and I've been fired before, I left this place voluntarily. This is a true story, the management was horrendous. I quit and never looked back ever! I honestly hope someone high up in the KFC cooperation reads this. Install cameras. I remember the cooks name was Oscar, the manager was Nicole, and the Store manager was Jesse. There's a lot more negative things I could say, but I got my point across. I'd like to imagine things are better now, but without cameras I don't trust it. I've learned since then never to eat at restaurants without cameras or proper supervision. It might have been a while ago but my experiences would stand true even now, had I made this...
Read moreI don't give any review , but tonight bad experience on this KFC branch give Me & My Family reason to write down the review. Today is Marthur Luther King Holiday. As other Families, We are also out for fun. and unfortunately stop by the KFC branch at Oakton St by O'Hare Airport. After Ordering the Family meals. once I came to window. Manager it's self open the window and took us. but she was so much rude from the beginning. Give us incomplete order. once I luckily check the order. it was incomplete and also did not return the money. so i went in the shop to get rest of the order and cash. Oh My GOD she talk with me again so much rude and blame Me. I told her complete the transaction and also this is not the way of customer service. definitely i am not going buy anything from KFC in future. I can only speak from my observations. I believe it all relates to the management starting from the top (corporate) down. It appears a lot of these companies are more concerned with profit than product and customer experience. The next step down is the store manager or the franchisee. They may lack the skills to successfully operate their business. Lastly it is the employees that are hired. They are often unmotivated, uninvolved and poorly paid. If you don’t have an enthusiastic, active and concerned leadership you will get an apathetic and disinterested employee. Will never ever return...
Read moreAfter waiting 5 minutes at the counter to give my order, a Hispanic guy comes to the register, doesn't acknowledge me, does something by the register and then walks away. Another 5 minutes pass and he comes back and ask what do I want. How about a cheerful greeting to start out? None. I had to repeat my order 3 times very slowly so he could comprehend, Hands me my receipt and walks away. Not even a thank you. I watched from the counter a girl was making my Famous Bowl and I didn't see that she put chicken in it, when she brought my order over to the counter I asked her if the Bowl contained chicken. She replied yes, when I got home there was no chicken in it. Now I know why you need a shift manager. The guy that took my order looked impaired; he had a blank stare as I was giving him the order. That explains my messed up dinner, did I mention that the biscuits were dry and hard as rocks? Could not eat them. I hope the owner of this place checks out his employees. Also, you might want to ask the guy at the register to wear a uniform and name tag, he's "representing" your...
