FOREVER BOBA TEA — Restaurant in Maine Township

This past early September marked the very 1st time stopping in here and was very pleased with the quality of the bubble tea here.

We live quite a ways north in Beach Park up in NE Lake County but my wife & I had taken our boys to an indoor playground in Mt. Prospect and were looking for a bubble tea venue on the way back home.

Chicago, Cook and DuPage counties are a haven for bubble tea compared to Lake County and Forever Boba Tea was an ideal candidate.

When we first walked in, I think I waited in line for at least 15 minutes before reaching the front counter. I eventually realized that the Asian lady behind the counter was working all by herself.

It was at least another 15 minutes or so before the teas were ready but once I took that first sip, the wait was most definitely worth it. The boba smoothies here are absolutely heavenly!

I did notice while sitting there enjoying our tea that some other people that were waiting line for several minutes were walking out. I would imagine the lady that was working is the owner and hopefully has more help by now.

Bubble tea is definitely one of the best growing trends in America and the "in thing" among the café experience.

If ever in the area again I'd most definitely stop in for some boba greatness. I hope for continued success and prosperity for...

Forever Boba has officially become our go-to spot for boba, and for good reason! Not only is the boba the best we’ve ever had, but the service is absolutely top-notch. The drinks are perfectly balanced, flavorful, and refreshing, and the tapioca pearls are hands-down the best we’ve ever tried: perfect texture, great taste, and just the right amount of chewiness.

What really won us over, though, was the customer service. The first time we went in, we ordered large sizes but were accidentally given smalls. It was a simple mistake, but we didn’t realize it at the time. A week later, we went back and casually mentioned it, and the person behind the counter (who seemed to be the owner) immediately made it right with kindness and respect. That moment showed us how much they truly value their customers, and it left such a great impression.

Another huge plus? The prices are super affordable, especially for the quality you’re getting. Some boba places can be overpriced, but Forever Boba offers amazing drinks at a great value.

For a brand new business I want to give it a good review because that’s how businesses thrive. However, I also know they need some feedback to improve. It was 5P on a weekend and only 1 person was working the register and making drinks. I felt bad because there were so many people waiting for their drinks and the lady was trying to handoff the drinks to the people by handing them right into their hands.

The vibes? I don’t know if you would really say there are any.

We tried horchata smoothie with boba, cookies’s with boba and mango without boba. They were all extremely watery… and the mango smoothie was so syrupy tasting. There are better bubble tea places...
