I LOVE LOVE LOVE chick-fil-a but today was the first time in the 10 years I have been going that I met a nasty manager and it was HERE at this location. I am not sure who runs this CFA but they don't have their stuff together. Last week I went there and waited 30 min for my food AFTER I had made my drive through line....to top it off my order was given to an impatient customer while my child and I waited for the food. I could tell that they were backed up so I waited patiently and did not want to cause any additional stress. That male manager was so stressed out that I tried to make him smile from how rough it was that day for them, I understood they were backed up and they were TRYING.
BUT TODAY... THATS ANOTHER STORY. I learned my lesson from last week and did the mobile order. Well they only have two little spots in which they also use for overflow from the drive through...well guess where I had to park, far from the entrance. So to help them out I put my hazards so they would somehow see me in the sea of cars (I cant get down, I am alone with a sick child and a baby). After waiting 20 min for my food I see a female supervisor or manager and I can kinda tell that "maybe" thats my order. So I step out to call her over so I could help her find me. Well when she finds me she tells me in a nasty restrained voice " you should have called CFA so we could find you, my employees have been out here several times looking for you". I smiled and let her go as it was worthless waisting any saliva to a person that can only see up to their point of view. BUT, how the heck am I suppose to know to call? Wouldn't that be considered an annoying customer if I had called? I can certainly say, this CFA is under bad management and management should be educated in organization and efficiency WITH kindness. Won't ever be returning...
Read moreI typically frequent this Chick-fil-A location on Maitland Blvd because it’s conveniently located near my home and has consistently delivered a positive experience. Unfortunately, my visit on April 30th was noticeably below the standard I’ve come to expect.
From the moment I walked in, the store felt unkempt. The floors appeared as if they hadn’t been mopped all day, with straw trimmings and debris scattered throughout the dining area. Tables were left unwiped, chairs were disorganized, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was disappointing. Additionally, because the back of the house is visible from the front counter, it was clear that stronger, more attentive management may be needed for the afternoon and evening shifts.
One concern was observing a female team member in a blue shirt with tattoos on her arms, presumably a shift manager, walking past messy tables and trash without addressing them as she delivered food to waiting guests. This lack of ownership over cleanliness and presentation does not reflect well on the leadership during that shift.
That said, I want to commend Jeanne, the team member running the expo. She was focused, fast, and committed to customer satisfaction. Her energy stood out in an otherwise disorganized environment. Based on my short interaction and observations, she demonstrated the kind of leadership and attention to detail that this location could benefit from in a management capacity.
I hope feedback helps bring attention to areas that need improvement. I want to continue visiting this store with confidence that the standards Chick-fil-A is known for are...
Read moreIt's pretty evident that this restaurant is poorly managed. I've lived in the area about a year, and would frequent this Chick Fil A fairly regularly. Most times there were mistakes with the order, so I got into the habit of always checking my bag. My last visit was particularly excruciating. I ordered a Market Salad with strips, plus an order of three strips. The total seemed low, so before I paid, I asked the payment person to repeat my order. We realized that the order taker had missed my strips. There were three cars ahead of me, and when I arrived to the window, my salad was still not ready. When it finally arrived, I looked in the bag, and noticed that they gave me a salad with shredded chicken (Not even an option) instead of strips. I pointed it out to the worker, and she seemed confused and asked me to park and come inside... (I went through the drive through for a reason)... when I got inside, I told the cashier what my problem was and she asked if I had ordered the salad with strips... ? This location is absolutely horrible. Nothing about this was the positive Chick Fil A experience I had grown accustomed to at other locations. The owner needs to find better managers, or throw in the towel and sell to another franchisee.
Update: the owner emailed me and gave me coupons for a free salad and dessert item. While I appreciate the kind gesture, I would much rather my order be handled correctly in the...
