Glen's Roast Beef — Restaurant in Malden

Glen's Roast Beef had one of the best roast beef sandwiches I've ever had! It was absolutely delicious!

I ordered the "Big" sized roast beef sandwich with the "3 Way" option, which included their special BBQ sauce, mayo, and choice of cheese (I chose American cheese). I also added lettuce and tomatoes, which may not be traditional, but I wanted some veggies.

The buns were light and fluffy with just the right amount of crispy, crunchiness on the inside edges from being grilled/toasted. The roast beef was thinly sliced, super tender, and generously portioned. The sauce combo was tangy, flavorful, and just the right amount to keep everything adequately sauced without becoming sloppy.

Really good food in kind of a weird location; I walked to it from the nearby Fairfield Inn; just had to navigate a few neighborhoods on the side of the hill and walk around the back of a warehouse.

Anyway, the service was prompt, the prices are good, and the food was AMAZING. Which is what you want from a restaurant. I got the second-smallest roast beef sandwich, which was still as big as one you'd get from your average sit-down restaurant. They have a wide variety of toppings, all free, which is a HUGE plus--you could make 20 different sandwiches just experimenting with the options. Sandwich was delicious and warm and soft and filling.

What can I say this place is awsome and its food speaks for it self's. Glen has done an amazing job taking over this place from the old and rusty Bill and Bob's which has not been updated in many years I know i been a customer for over 15 years. Every time I come in am always treated nicely more like family with great customer service always providing extra things then what's needed and you dont see that too often. Food feels like it got even better then before beef is shaved and cooked daily its melts in your mouth when you eat it. Everything is fresh to make and the prices are fantastic for the quality food they are serving.
