Not too often I write a comment or review about places I had the opportunity to visit. However, my wife’s recommendation to check this place right at Broadway by the Malden/Melrose line, was definitely delightful. This place is surely unique, beautifully decorated, that makes you feel welcome, cozy and relaxed (like you were visiting a nice restaurant by one of the gorgeous beaches and resorts in Brazil). The lighting, and overall vibe, along with very elegantly decorated and clean restrooms, with well sounded music system. Service: maybe my only observation was the reception part and overall service performance, that had a potential to equal the quality and level that this restaurant offers. The staff were okay, attentive. Did they provide recommendations? Honestly no, however they showed some level of knowledge about what they have to offer. How’s was the wait time? Excellent job on the part. Food Quality: That was definitely the most satisfying, enjoyable experience, the taste in my opinion was unbelievable amazing (comment from someone who manage, experienced, and knows about the food business industry, that already visited 100’s of restaurants with different types all over the US). The presentation, and freshness of the food, full of favors and portions were right on point. Do you ever feel what looks like to pay for a meal and knowing that every bite was worth? and you don’t even feel hungry or that you overeat? That’s how I describe my experience at this place when comes to eating the delicious meal. Big highlight to the mashed potato, well done! My family tried few different recipes and dishes, and every one of them was absolutely delicious and tasteful. I strongly recommend this place, as I classify it as a top fine restaurant to visit with a friend(s), family, or for a meeting/conversation with someone. Overall experience - Well done KASA! Well done job! I am still impressed with the level of quality and skills. Ps.: If you allow me, just one more comment. The price part was very fair, and not expensive at all, considering the level of the quality and what the environment has to offer.

My husband and I drove almost an hour to try out KASA, and it was absolutely worth the trip! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed into a warm and inviting atmosphere that felt like home. The drinks were phenomenal, perfectly crafted and refreshing, setting the tone for an incredible dining experience. The food was simply outstanding, with an authentic Brazilian touch that brought out rich and vibrant flavors in every bite. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, and you could taste the passion behind the cooking. Beyond the delicious food and drinks, what truly made our visit special was the hospitality. The owners were incredibly gracious, making us feel like part of the family. Their dedication to creating a welcoming space for guests was evident in every detail. I’m already looking forward to coming back—especially for future brunches and, hopefully, some wine-tasting events! If you’re looking for a hidden gem with amazing food, drinks, and a fantastic atmosphere, I highly recommend KASA. This place is a must-visit!

KASA in Malden is a fantastic spot for anyone who loves Brazilian food. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a touch of sophistication that makes you feel right at home. The food is absolutely amazing. The salmon is cooked to perfection, and the picanha is flavorful and juicy. The pastels are crispy and delicious, and the coxinha is everything you’d hope for—light, creamy and satisfying. Don’t miss out on the caipirinhas—they’re some of the best I’ve had. KASA has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat. Whether it’s a casual night out or a special occasion, they’ve got you covered. Definitely worth checking out!

I normally don’t write reviews, but my experience at Kasa in Malden was so upsetting and felt unsafe that I feel obligated to share. As a businesswoman, I fully understand the importance of customer service and this place failed on every level.

My friend recommended we go here. She had a day off, drove nearly an hour to see me, and was excited to enjoy a meal together. I live less than 10 minutes away and drive by Kasa almost every day, but had never been. Now I know why.

We were the only customers in the restaurant. While the atmosphere was fine at first, it eventually turned openly hostile. I ordered a filet mignon medium rare, but it came out well-done. I told the waitress that that I requested medium rare and I don’t like overcooked steak. The server took it back to the chef, then returned with the same steak and told me it was just a “small cut,” basically brushing off my concern.

I know how I like my steak and how it should be cooked I’ve dined at plenty of upscale steakhouses. I wasn’t expecting an upscale experience here, but I did expect my steak to be cooked properly, at the very least.

I explained again that I simply don’t enjoy my steak that way. Instead of addressing the issue, the server became defensive and hostile and some what verbally aggressive, and acting unprofessionally. He then stood behind the bar, glaring at us and making the atmosphere feel extremely uncomfortable very unpleasant. It was very hostile.

We decided to leave due to the growing tension. Shockingly, the server followed us to the door and continued being hostile as we walked out. My friend was very upset. What was supposed to be a relaxing outing turned into an incredibly negative experience.

This behavior is completely unacceptable in any service environment. I will never return to Kasa, and I strongly advise others to think twice before dining there. Hospitality should never feel...

The worse service I have ever experienced. Food is my thing. I don't spend money on clothes, shoes, purses, etc. I like to go out to eat. I've spent thousands of dollars in restaurants around the country & outside of the country. I've never had a worse server. A more sensitive, unstable & disrespectful server. Customer service skills were negative 100. The food was actually above average until we got to our entrees. My risotto was undercooked, but I was going to let that slide. My companion ordered filet mignon, cooked medium. The filet was well done. My companion sent it back. Then the server brought that same steak back out & proceeded to try & gaslight us to how the chef said was cooked fine. If your chef doesn't know how to cook steak, just say that. If the cut of steak is so tiny, it can't be cooked medium, just say that. But don't berate my companion for not wanting it. Then try to say she was being disrespectful. No, if she doesn't want it. She doesn't want it. Period. It was nothing personal. Just a preference but, the server & chef seemed personally attacked & then the server proceeded to personally attack us. At that point, I was done. Didn't finish my meal or drink. The server proceeded to follow us to the door still talking about his hurt feelings. Sir, grow up & take a customer service class. Absolutely ruined my day off & made me mad to the point of tears....
