Halco Kitchen & Bath — Local services in Malden

We discovered Halco Kitchen & Bath at the Home Show in Wilmington MA in early 2024. After speaking with their crew at the home show for only a few minutes, we could tell they had the same values, integrity, and high standards that we were looking for. They were receptive to our non-traditional kitchen ideas and were excited to bring our vision to life. Everyone, at every phase, showed us patience and respect. The planning and contract negotiation phases went really well with lots of good suggestions, explanations, and communication. Halco’s subcontractors were experts in their trades and were punctual, careful, professional, and cleaned the job site every day. The speed with which our project was completed, despite some unexpected roadblocks, was amazing. They kept us on track with gentle nudges and we rarely had to do the same for them because they were always one step ahead of us. Communication was great, especially with the Buildertrend app. This project exceeded our expectations and we are incredibly pleased with everything they did for us. 60 years ago, Halco Kitchen & Bath gave my mother the kitchen of her dreams. Fast-forward 60 years, and now they have given me mine!

Halco was truly wonderful to work with. I was expecting delays in this post-COVID world, but had none. They kept the project on schedule and on budget. Coordinated everything. What else could you ask for? Admirable!! Tyler, Kelly, Erin, and William all had their areas of expertise, offered suggestions I would not have thought of, and were all very lovely to work with. Was it perfect? No, nothing really is, if we're honest. But things that I didn't like they offered to fix. With a smile. Honestly. I didn't take them up on the offer to redo things, but I appreciated that they offered. They stand by what they do.

So now, I have the first floor of my dreams, and I love sitting down there at night enjoying all that it has to offer (while I work on furnishing it). And I plan to have them back later in the year to redo the upstairs. They're truly a wonderful group to do...

Tim and his crew just finished remodeling our bathroom and I couldn't be happier. It was a small space, but in need of lots of work since everything was original from the early 1960s and the tiles had started to come loose from the walls. They tore everything down to the studs and rebuilt. Obviously, the cabinets were great (nice to actually have storage space in there now) but the best part was that all the sub-contractors (plaster guys, tile guys, plumber, electrician) and inspections were coordinated smoothly. They stayed right on top of everything, kept everything clean and neat, and did a quality job. Also, Tim was very good at keeping the communication open and was very accessible for questions.
