Six Twenty-One Tavern & Grill — Restaurant in Malden

If I could give less than one star I would, I am NOT one to write bad reviews as I work as a MANAGER in customer service and understand it's very hard to please everyone. I and a group of 6 friends went to dinner here on a Sunday night, It was recommended by an uncle and i thought hey why not as we live a few streets away. First off, the service was awful it took over 15 minutes to get a drink and another 20 for her to even acknowledge us to take our order. Food was typical pub food. We paid for a majority of our bill in cash and split the rest between 3 cards which were to only be charged under $20. We made sure to leave a 20% tip in cash. Later in the week I & another friend checked our bank statement as we normally do and realized we were both charged the full bill amount. The bill came to $140. Thinking this was just a mistake we called and spoke to the manager, who is quite frankly the rudest person I have ever come in contact with. He then proceeds to tell my friend they never received the cash and that I was lying to get my money back. After a big argument, he agreed to give me $95 back for the inconvenience, even though her card was charged $125 and $15. I called and got a totally different story, they proceeded to tell me the server didnt know how to run the bill and that i would see the difference on my card in a few business days. THIS IS DEFINITELY A GREAT PLACE TO GO!! Great people, amazing food, bartenders are quick and make great drinks very friendly and kind!! Good atmosphere good sports bar!!

Okay some nitpicking?

The neighborhood itself kind of rundown.. if you drove by and saw this bar where it is And you've never been in the neighborhood looking for a bar to go. You would skip this bar. The little mini mall I guess you might want to call it sketchy not very inviting. But that doesn't mean much. Maybe they like it that way who knows.

NO ENTERTAINMENT!! I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MUCH I CAN'T STAND THAT CERTAIN BARS DON'T HAVE ENTERTAINMENT!! I love live music, karaoke, DJ all that stuff.. for the most part I usually go to bars that have some type of entertainment.. I guess some companies if they do as well as this bar does. They feel like they don't need it. But that's not what it's about. Even if you break even it's like you're doing something for the people who support your bar. GIVE THEM SOME ENTERTAINMENT!! GIVE THEM A REWARD!!

I want to hear there's no room. I've seen entertainment in the smallest places with no room. There's definitely room for entertainment here move a few tables around You could have a DJ, karaoke, a band you don't need much space.

Well anyways...

Always come here almost every week and get the same thing, most of the waitresses are very friendly and attentive, however when I went this weekend I got a cheese burger didn’t really recognize the waitress. When I got the burger I noticed the bun was very soggy and bloody, I took a bite and it was practically raw. I asked for medium well which I’d say most people get. Nope this was probably cooked for a minute. Now I get places are crazy busy cause of covid but u think a waitress would apologize for that considering it’s legit bleeding on my plate. She states how it looked not cooked, intold her I don’t want another one it kind of killed it for me after seeing that. I then see her just texting on her phone the whole time while all the other waitresses were running out food waiting on tables. Not sure what happened this night but hopefully they get it together cause there usually on point. Bloody cheeseburgers are a no no...
