Gong Cha — Restaurant in Malden

Ordered 6 drinks and took roughly 25 minutes. When my order was ready I picked it up at the counter as I lift the paper tray with my drinks 2 fell out and spilled. I told the gentle that I was sorry to cause the mess. But the tray that was used did not snuggle the large drink cups. I was ok to replace them and pay for it. The gentleman told me it's ok to worry abt it. Now the gentleman that took are order came over and ask me to pay for the drinks. I didn't say anything all I did was hand him the cash. But since my order was at front of the line I had to wait all over again for 2 drinks. That took another 35 minutes so with that I stayed at the store for 1 hr. Great staffs, amazing drinks, super clean, very spacious with indoor/outdoor seatings and quick service! It's very easy to find parking and only 5 minutes walk from Malden Center train station.

I've been to this location twice for their grand opening B1G1 Promotion (pick from their Top 10 drinks). I tried earl grey milk tea with 3J's, passion fruit with green tea, matcha tea latte, pearl milk tea, strawberry latte and Taro milk tea. It's great to be able to choose the ice and sugar level. Highly recommend you to add toppings! They do make perfect tapioca pearl and the texture is perfect.

An unequivocally deplorable attempt at boba. Gong cha is a nationwide establishment which I would say had garnered an positive reputation. However, this very location should be considered a stain on an otherwise distinguished franchise. I came to New York for vacation and visited this place hoping for my usual comforting bubble tea yet I was in for a rude awakening. The service was no short of a calamity the drinks were no better than dishwater and the atmosphere could be synonymous with purgatory. It felt as thought it was a distinct displeasure to simply have my drink prepared and served. This location could be tantamount to failure. I need to make myself very clear that I love Gong Cha.
