Review is long, but worth it:
Shopping for furniture can be a drag, and when you have to deal with salespeople to do so, it can get downright annoying and overbearing.
This was not the case at The Furniture House. We just moved to a bigger space with an expanding family, so we were looking to purchase a new bedroom set, mattress, and living room furniture. Needless to say, we knew we were going to be spending some money.
Before we checked this place out, we had done comparison shopping at places like Bob’s Discount Furniture, Ashley’s Furniture, Rooms To Go, and other household names like that. We never could find anything we loved, and we were concerned about the quality and durability. So we went to The Furniture House hoping to fare better.
When you enter the shop, you will likely do business with either Maged (owner) or Bob (sales). These two guys are awesome. They were patient, kind, respectful, honest, and did not use any high-pressure sales tactics! No joke. They were honest about what specific pieces were better value than others (even sometimes recommending lower-priced items over more expensive ones). They were extremely knowledgeable about their products, and they let us take our time during multiple visits to decide instead of rushing us into a purchase.
After a couple of different days of visiting the store, we decided to purchase a recliner, sofa, mattress, and 5 piece bedroom set. They worked with us every step of the way and were very friendly throughout. We really couldn’t be much happier.
When time for delivery, the delivery guys were great, friendly, on time, and never complained despite all the big furniture and transporting through elevators. They did a terrific job setting everything up without incident.
Would I buy furniture again from here? You bet! The experience was nothing like your typical annoying sales job, and the quality of what we purchased is top notch.
PS: I’m not sure how long Maged and Bob have worked together, but they have a really cool dynamic between them that is fun to watch when they are...
Read moreMy partner and I needed a new couch, and we had already gone to all the usual suspects (Ashley, Regency, Bob's, IKEA, Costco, and even Bassett) but we couldn't find what we wanted: a floppable couch within our budget of $2500. I found Furniture House on Yelp, so we decided to make the drive out to Manassas. We were NOT disappointed! We were greeted at the door by the owner, Maged, who was not at all pushy, but instead encouraged us to look around and promised he would get us a good deal. When we didn't find what we were looking for, he sent us 2 minutes down the road to his other store. There, we found exactly what we wanted--a Jackson Furniture L-shaped sectional (sturdy and American-made) under our budget. Maged insisted on covering shipping costs for us and told us to expect our new couch in 8 weeks. It arrived in less than a month! We now have the most comfortable sofa on the planet and we can't stop lounging on it (or bragging about it) :)
Bottom line: Maged provided exceptional customer service and bent over backwards to get us what we were looking for at a good price. Will return for our next piece...
Read moreI was totally impressed with the knowledge of sales associate Diva along with the manager / owner Maged. I was looking for a bedroom set along with box spring and mattress and a curio. I been to several furniture stores looking then I came to The Furniture House. After speaking to Diva and Maged who by the way did an outstanding job with all the pieces price wise. Everything was deliver as agreed upon and the delivery guys were careful the whole time while inside my home setting and putting everything together. I could not be pleased morewith my purchase and when my friends stop by they definitely compliment everything that I had purchased from the Furniture House. Thanks again to Diva/Maged & the delivery personnel who set up everything from the start once purchased and delivered. Will definitely return to The Furniture House when upgrading other rooms in the future.
Thanks Again to the staff of The Furniture...
