Wanted my phone camera lens cleaned of fog. they said $45, got a receipt when i dropped off phone at 12PM, they said theyll call me when its ready that evening. I call them in evening, its not ready and that they will call me when it is ready.
Next day (DAY 2), i call them at 4PM asking if its ready, they tell me that the screen actually fried and ill need to replace that, itll be $150. i tell them they mustve fried it because my phone was working fine when i dropped it off. women speaks with someone off phone, then tells me they had my phone confused with another phone and that it will be $55 for the cleaning. (so they tried scamming me).
I say i have a receipt that says 45, they tell me thats a mistake, and that if 55 was too much that i can pick up the phone. to which i said "so you havent even started it?" to which they said "no weve been busy". Whatever, do it. i pick up that same day at 7pm. eSim deleted, i went to cricket to buy new one.
Next day (DAY 3 NOW) my Power button is sticky, Stays pressed when clicked, activates siri and renders phone useless. I tried restarting it but then it cycled turning on and off. I take it back to shop (LEAVING WORK, NEED PHONE) where i tell the guy I my home button is stuck, he then says its not the home button its the phone being fried bc of water (trying to scam). I tell him its the home button and that the home button is the reason it wont turn on. he takes my phone before i get to show im the issue (clicking when u rub button up and down, tested on dif phone, there should be no noise rub up and down button), then he then fixes it in 10 min. and i sit there seeing if theres any issue with button. nothing, so it wasnt fried was it? it was clear to me something was tampered with my button.
will not return again, and was better off leaving in rice because i lost 3 days without phone.
tl;dr: either a scammer who preys on the clueless and desperate, or the most unproffesional repair shop who are clueless about their work and dont GAF about what they do.
i was furious, so furious i left this review of...
Read moreBad experience on very 1st repair (Defective screen).. Close to $240 wasted.. Was told the phone would be repaired in 1 hour, came back & was told to return an hour in a half later, & the phone still wasn't ready. Waited inside the store for over 30 more mins & was finally given the phone.. It looked nice, but when I returned home, I noticed that the screen would rarely move by itself, then it kept getting worst. Even with trying to type this message, it's taking extra long, because extra letters will start pushing, & I keep erasing. Was giving a defective screen, & was told to bring it back today 06-14-21 at 10:30 am to send the screen for warranty..I let the worker know that I had to be at work by 1:30, & would it be done before then? He replied "No problem " When I arrived at 10:30, the store was locked & closed.. I waited over an hour for them to open, & was told by the same person that everything won't 'probably' be complete until after 6:30pm.. So I was given a defective screen, lied to, & not giving a guarantee that it would be even repaired.. He said what he said, got on the computer, then just walked away. Would of been better off just getting a new phone for cheaper, backing up my data/restoring.. You may not have the same experience, but mine wasn't good at all..Made the phone alot worst if anything. He also tried to point out a tiny scratch on the back of the phone barely seen like it had anything to do with the screen. This is my 1st 'Bad' review I have ever given by the way. I usually like to give good ones to those I...
Read moreI brought my cellphone here because of the ratings but I wish I had read into this more. I'm not so sure exactly how legit these reviews even are?
I brought my phone to this location 2 weeks ago with a damaged screen. My daughters screen was shattered and they replaced it with a new one. After the replaced it we purchased a screen protector from their store. Our total cost for the day was over $100. Days later the screen they replaced it with popped up. The screen had never been properly attached. I contacted them back and they agreed to look into this. I left the phone with them and when I came back the screen appeared to be attached. Less than a day after they fixed it however the touch screen stopped working. When I contacted them and asked them to fix it they said that because the screen was damaged they could only try to help us.
The screen was damaged because it was never properly fixed. We literally handed them $100 to make our situation worse. We brought our cell phone in to be fixed....again for the third time. This time they pretty much told us "Sorry but we can't help you. But we can give you discounted price on yet another screen" I have no idea why they think I would ever spend another dime in that shop.
If your phone needs to be repaired take it some where else. Otherwise, you're most likely going to be spending a lot of time in that store and money on them fixing...
