Chofita’s Food truck 1 — Restaurant in Manassas

Man, where do I start about our experience at Chofita's food truck? Let me tell you, my wife had her first encounter with real tacos here, and man, she fell head over heels. Not even kidding. Love at first bite, you could say.

We decided to dive right in and ordered a bit of everything. Tripe tacos, barbacoa quesadillas, and carne asada quesadillas - and every single one of them was a home run. The flavors were just popping, and the taste? I'm practically drooling just thinking about it now.

We washed down our feast with good old glass-bottled Fantas. Nothing like a cold, fizzy drink to complement the savory goodness, right?

Now, don't get me started on the desserts. We indulged ourselves in the tres leches and flan. Each was a perfect sweet ending to our meal, just like the cherry on top of a perfect Thursday evening.

What struck me about this food truck was not just the killer food, but also how clean they kept the place. I mean, they even had a little corner for washing hands. That's some attention to detail right there. The decor was a nice touch too, making the whole experience just feel comfortable and homely.

Food was excellent- fresh ingredients, flavorful, prepared beautifully, and packaged so well it stayed warm over a half hour drive home. The service was welcoming and helpful. I ordered five different tacos, a chicken torta, and the mushroom quesadilla. It gave my partner and me an over indulgent meal plus a satisfying lunch the next day. The food was fantastic and I especially enjoyed the torta. Best tacos we’ve had and the quesadilla was gooey amazingness. The order came with two servings of two different sauces, one red/hot and one green- both delicious. They take cards and have outdoor seating available. We can’t wait until one of us is back in the area again to try some other things off their menu.

The person who served me suggested we call ahead and they can have it ready. I didn’t wait long for such a big order of so many different things. This may be the first time we’ve had authentic Mexican food. We eat everything, enjoy trying foods, and grew up eating southern Louisiana and Brazilian foods. We now both felt we’ve been missing out our whole life. This was one of the best meals we’ve enjoyed in half a life of traveling...
