Maybe the most eclectic Farmers Market in Northern Virginia! Bountiful and diverse produce, art/crafts vendors, food vendors, and excellent music Their espresso drinks vendor is a must-visit Zana is a fave jewelry vendor Fave foods we've had so far are the freshly fried donuts and fried fish. ~ They don't have a dairy-forward (i.e. milks and yogurts) vendor? ~The only thing they lack is a mushroom-specific vendor but I was surprised to see some of the produce vendors have variations of button/cremini/portobello and oyster! UPDATE as of our visit Nov 2023, they did have a lovely fresh mushroom vendor with additional dried mushroom products like salts ~ The times we've gone before they've had music but not when we went last time (Nov 2023) Vendors could be more sensitive about plastic use (asking about the need for a plastic bag before placing produce in one, using cardboard/paper pint containers instead of...

Update 9 months later: Oh, it's awesome now! Last yr (20) was just a yr to forget, yanno? There's herbs, strawberries and these DELECTABLE tartlets and butter cake! I've never had butter cake. Oh my it was good. And keto friendly sweets. I forget the name of it, will update when I get the name.

I'm a noob to VA. Yanno that right? I don't see this as a farmers market. There were quite a few non farm things there. It was interesting though. Boiled peanuts. (People eat them!) Pricy harvest house cheese/garlic hamburger buns at $9.75. won't do THAT again! I thought there would be lots of flowers, only one place had one kind. Bring a hat. Don't go anywhere without a hat & water. It's worse here...

The whole family looks forward to our trips to the market, on Saturdays, during Spring and Summer! There is a wide variety of what vendors are offering, and all are fantastic! There is always live music while you browse the bouquets of beautiful flowers, delicious sausage from Smiths of Mecklenburg, unique photography prints by Redfox Creations, natural dog bones and yummy pastries by Great Harvest, caramel cookies by Dolce Amore Sweets, coffee and tea, ceviche, pickles, loads and loads of fresh fruits and vegetables, handmade baskets, bags, jewelry and bows, smoothies, lotions and oils, food trucks...the list goes on and on!
