My experience at HawaU was good! It literally just opened yesterday but the employees were super kind & had great smiles to greet me, they also did give me detailed explanations on their menu & for everything i asked cheerfully. Now THE FOOD: The popcorn chicken; okay so I'll probably crave these once a week or so .. they were SOOOO good & crispy & coated with Katsu breading so that definitely added a great crispy taste to them! & their sauces are AMAZING! Definitely in house made, the green sauce: i would like to bathe in plssss lol. It was so good! Great quality of chicken too. Also came with a thin bed of fries underneath it and the fries were seasoned perfectly and perfectly crispy too. The Musubis were scrumptiousss, like wow! I ordered the katsu musubis & they did not disappoint. The seaweed was super fresh too. & the egg omelette in it was soft, light, & tasty. Food was ready in under 7 mins. Made from scratch The seating area could be better but in all honesty they just opened yesterday and they did not have too long to convert this place from a deli so I think that will spruce up very soon, but they DID have a really cute selfie wall. The menu is also not a big one especially for Hawaiian place but they did say they will be adding more things to the menu soon. A friend of mine's tried HawaU on their first day, she ordered the loco moco and said it was delicious & fresh, I was on the phone with her as she was eating, only thing we were disappointed in is the loco moco comes with mac & cheese and NOTTT the usual Hawaiian Mac salad. For someone who has tried L& L Hawaiian barbecue several times, I can say that this definitely has potential to be on that level. The food is already just as delicious they just have to update the menu more but so far so good I was not disappointed at all. So for a new establishment and keeping in mind the time they had to get this place together and the freshness and deliciousness of the food this place is definitely worth a try to me.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hawau restaurant, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. Having visited a few times before, I can confidently say that the service at this establishment is top-notch. On this particular occasion, I decided to dine in with a friend, and we were warmly greeted by Andrew and another lovely staff member whose name I regretfully didn't catch. The level of attentiveness and friendliness displayed by the entire staff was truly commendable. What surprised us even more was when the owner generously offered us two complimentary drinks, a kind gesture that added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. I sincerely appreciate the consistent improvement in service at Hawau and highly recommend it to anyone in search of exceptional hospitality.

I absolutely love this place. This is exactly what we need to cut into the fast food chains all over the place a Manassas. Coming back from Hawaii just recently I would say this is on par or better than the food that I had in Hawaii. I was really afraid that I wasn’t going to be able to get the same experience I had while I was on vacation but every single time I come here I get the feeling of being back in Hawaii. The menu has updated since I have been here, I just tried their spicy teriyaki chicken, and it was phenomenal perfect balance of sweet and tangy and spicy, everything here is cooked to order so of course everything was executed perfectly. Can’t wait to try more stuff on their menu.

So conveniently located at the end of the strip. Very nice service and generous portions. I had the chicken loco bowl with brown and green sauce (v light refreshing spicy) it was freshly made and nicely seasoned, not too salty served w generous amount of rice and crispy chicken pieces, side coleslaw like salad, with mac. I personally thought i had too much mayo in the mac salad at the time. The rice was amazing. It’s plain sticky asian rice but the texture was perfect. Also the drink of the day was strawberry lemonade- delicious! Will definitely come back when I’m in the area.

This is such a cute spot in the unlikeliest of places. I got the spicy teriyaki bowl, bulgogi bowl, and the spam musubi. Each dish was better than the next, but the musubi was the star of the show of the show for me. It was sweet, savory, and the spam and egg were the perfect filling. I would come back just for those!!!! The staff is super friendly and the place looks so cute and photo-op ready! Much love from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷🩷 P.S. dont skip out on the macaroni salad and jalapeños!!!!!!! AMAZING✨✨

This is like the 11th time in 2 month we have Hawau food for dinner. Our favorite is chicken lokko. I’m so happy that my boyfriend suggest this place the first time. IS SOOOOO GOOD. And they have amazing deals when you are first customer. Totally recommend this place and their staff are so nice that you will feel super welcome. I got a bowl of chicken lokko with teriyaki sauce last night 😋 and a little Christmas present as well lol. THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE AMAZING SERVICE AND FOOD
