My wife and I met friends for dinner on an early Sunday evening. Looking for a new place, we decided on Lume Asian Fusion in Manassas. Lume is a very nice Restaurant located in Old Town Manassas. We entered and were shown to a table by a friendly hostess. Our server was promptly at our table, and took our drink orders. My wife had the Tsai Snow Maiden Sake. She enjoyed it very much, but it came in a larger bottle than Sake is usually presented in. It was also room temperature and not warmed, however that was not a problem, just a difference. I had a cocktail called Lime Punch. This drink was heavenly, at least to my taste. It featured Rum, bleu curacao, pineapple juice and a few other yummies, with boba pearls for further interest. To me it was scary good.
Aa an appetizer we ordered the K-Wings. Very tasty, though a bit spicy for me. I would heartily recommend them. For dinner, my wife had Jap-Chae (Korean Glass Noodles). She said it was good. Not the best she had ever had, but something she would probably order again. I ordered the Rice Bowl with spicy chicken. it comes with cucumber, pickled radish and red onion, kimchi, and a fried egg. It was excellent, one those meals that you are sad after you take the last bite because it is all gone. I would order it again and often.
The restaurant itself is very clean and very open, with its high ceilings and tables and chairs instead of booths. The bar is along almost one whole side of the restaurant, and has a large and very interesting structure against the wall behind the bar that holds bottles and a large TV screen. The restrooms are also something to behold. I can only speak about the men's room, but it more than just immaculately clean. It had very nice wallpaper, and beautiful light fixtures around the mirror. I always visit the restrooms in every restaurant I review, and seldomly do I take pictures. But this restroom was stunning.
Everyone working there was interested in making our visit memorable. Lume Asian Fusion is a restaurant that I would highly recommend paying a visit to. My wife and I will be back. And if you do dine there, and Rum is your thing, try the Lime Pinch. It is...
Read moreMy fiancee found this place while she was walking in the area. She was so excited- she knows I enjoy my Asian food. I started with an old fashioned of course (you should know by now). Old fashioned was yummy! Very sweet. Next, we went for appetizers; we ordered the bulgogi cheese fries, the pot stickers, and spring rolls. Let's start with the bulgogi cheese fries. The fries came out hot and fresh. I loved how there was some cheese pull. The bulgogi was seasoned well too. I didn't too much care for the pot stickers, as me and my fiancee agreed that they shouldn't have been drenched in sauce. I could literally taste the sodium in that soy sauce, and it wasn't great. The spring rolls tasted good with the sweet chili sauce, but not so much standing alone. Needless to say they were hot, crispy, and fresh. They were not like most Asian places I been at where the Spring rolls are badly over cooked, taking away from what's inside the roll. Lume Asian Fusion did a good job with achieving good texture with their spring rolls. For the entree, I ordered the Glass Noodles and added the spicy chicken. I was a bit scared at first due to past "glass noodles" dishes, but Lume Asian Fusion got the glass noodles recipe "down-packed"! I was not expecting how all the different flavors aligned together - there were onions, green bell peppers, red bell peppers, chicken, and even more spices that were in the noodles. Hands down the best Glass Noodles I've ever tasted. Overall I would recommend this establishment, as everyone was so nice and kind and the service was really good! Just make sure you ask for the sauce on the side if you order the pot stickers.

Lume Asian Fusion is IT!! From the second we sat at the bar, we knew we were in for something special. Let’s start with the bartender—she was a total rockstar. Sweet, attentive, and just radiating good vibes. We felt like VIPs the whole time.
Now, onto the food. The Bao Buns—I don’t even have the words. Fluffy, soft, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. And that pork belly? Tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Hands down the best bao buns I’ve ever had in my life. No contest.
Then we had the Salmon Poke Bowl, and let me tell you, it was a straight-up masterpiece. Every bite was a flavor explosion. The fresh salmon, sweet mango, and crisp cucumber made it feel like I was eating art. Decadent doesn’t even do it justice.
And then came the Burger Sliders—oh my god. Those buns were softer than a cloud, the burgers were so juicy they should’ve come with a warning, and the cheese? Perfectly melted like it was crafted by the burger gods themselves.
But wait—it gets better. The Biscoff Espresso Martini was so ridiculously good, my wife loved it so much we had to order another to share—and mind you, it was 1 PM. No shame. That drink was pure magic in a glass.
To top it all off, the owner swung by to check on us. That personal touch? Class act. And as a die-hard Philly Eagles fan, seeing SportsCenter on the bar TV made my day even better.
We’re moving to Manassas soon, and let me just say, we’re about to become Lume regulars. This place isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. If you haven’t been, drop everything and go. You...
