I’m sad today because this place has always been my go to pho spot for years. First off a couple months ago I came to grab lunch walked in and literally no one was there stood there/sat down for over 10 min hollered out for someone. NOTHING. Was so weird. So couple months go by I’m feigning need my pho fix so I go today. Man it was horrible. I’m going to skip my situation with the confusion over menu items and their old website from when they opened years ago. (why not just take it down) and get to the point. I’ve ate the same thing over 20/30 times from this place previously and not only did the prices go up on everything but the amount of food and Quality has gone down. Way less soup/noodles then I usual. Same goes for my spring rolls. I felt so slighted and completely left unsatisfied. $20+ for a soup and crispy rolls it’s never been more than $10-15 I asked about the portion size (Was that even a Large) he said something about prices of something they buy has gone up. (What the hell does that have to do with me) if your going to raise the prices of your food why give the customer less. Didn’t even taste the same. I’m never returning and they have lost a customer. I’ll try other pho spots out. The Server took rolls off my table due to the menu confusion kinda irritated me. Good luck to this business. Seems nothing...
Read moreLet me to start by saying, I really wish I got his name, but I believe he was either the owner or manager, and wow what great customer service skills this guy has. He is very happy and accommodating from the moment you walk in. Takes time to explain the menu to you and even offered some suggestions.
I, unfortunately… was absolutely not a fan of the pho though, it lacked a bit of flavor & depth for my palate, and the meat choices were very thin. After a few bites, i just couldn’t go on with it so i informed him I was not a fan of the taste, and he quickly brought back a menu for me and told me to pick something else. He did not have an attitude about it at all, he kept his same happy and accommodating demeanor. I felt very comfortable. Note to add a full plate of bean sprouts, jalapeños, and bok choy was included with the pho.
I ended up opting for a chicken kitchen dish The grilled chicken rice dish was actually really good, the chicken is seasoned so well & but sweet gingery taste to it, which i loved. So I can imagine that their other appetizers and kitchen dishes are good too. The vermicelli however was just plain unseasoned.
The place is not too fancy, but it's very clean, and so is the restroom. Overall the managers welcoming demeanor made this experience at pho 234...
Read moreThis place is AWFUL. We ordered take out, chicken fried rice and a combo meal with chicken, shrimp and egg roll. First of all, their prices on the website are apparently over 10 years old, says the woman at the store. Because we called for takeout thinking it would be $10.95 for the combo, and $8.50 for the fried rice. Checked out our meal was total $38!!!! The woman said the website is old and not updated. We get home, open the food and the rice looked disgusting, like a light yellow with uncooked looking chicken. The combo had dark dark brown chicken that was literally just fat, only 3 pieces of shrimp and the egg roll. We immediately called them after taking 1 bite of each dish and being disgusted and the guy said we can come bring the food back for a refund. So when bringing the food back, it was an argument as to why we brought the food back and that we were accused of always doing this, when this is the first time we have ever returned food. It wasn’t even about the money, but $38 to just waste when you think the food is gross is a lot!!!!!! They had a defensive answer for everything and basically called us cheap and scammers. Will NEVER return and...
