I stop here at least 3 times a week. The staff is wonderful and everyone is always so friendly and the manager is even more friendly. Today I stopped in and purchase a super green Caesar wrap (my favorite!) while sitting in my car, enjoying my wrap, I got half way finished and noticed a large insect in my wrap. The insect was not alive but it’s clear that it was a bug. Resembling a very small cricket (maybe) I’m not sure. Covered in Caesar sauce and flattened because it may have been smooshed from the way they wrap the sandwich. I’m so disappointed. The drinks are very refreshing and as I stated, everyone is so nice there. I did call to make a complaint and the manager was not there. The young lady that took my call was very apologetic and stated she will make sure she gives the manager my info and make him aware of the situation. I advised her, I don’t want my money back, nor do I want a free meal/drink. Just examine the store better, especially the area where drinks and food are prepared and to please make sure the manager is aware.Their location is ALWAYS clean so this was definitely a shock. The season is changing and people will start to see small insects a lot more with spring here and summer approaching. Even in restaurants. Clean!Clean! Clean! Read moreI ordered delivery from the website, 2 smoothies, and 2 food items with some extras. Only received the smoothies. Called and was told I could come in and get the items, (could not-no car and watching a baby) Asked for a refund for the food items, was told that they needed to call the manager to find out when they could refund my money. Waited over an hour for them to return my call, called back twice and line disconnected as if they hung up the phone. Called again and was told they would call the manager right then, was on hold. Was told he would refund my money for the food items but I had to go to the store at a specific time to get my refund. Called doordash because delivery is "powered by doordash" they said tropical smoothie collects all money and tips so they cannot help with refund, they connected me with a corporate representative for tropical smoothie, who told me i would be refunded for the entire amount of my order. Has been almost 24 hours-no refund. Looked online and found corporate reviews from others with the same experience at other franchises. Shady business practice to take online orders but not be able to refund online for items a customer received. Seems like a way to make it so inconvenient to get your money back that you give up. Walked in and instead of being greeted I got this look like I had something on my face. Or I was being inconsiderate for wanting to place an order. All the employees were looking at me like I was weird or they are too good to serve me.. I'm diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder so my paranoia in public place run high. I'm already uncomfortable but they made me more anxious. I have bad self esteem so this didnt help. I just wanted to just walk away and not take the smoothie.
