If you're considering a visit to Buffalo Wild Wings in Manassas, VA, be prepared for a disappointing experience that leaves a sour taste, regardless of how good their wings might be.
I stopped by this location on August 2nd, 2023, at 8:30 pm, hoping for an enjoyable meal, only to find myself caught up in a bewildering mess of poor service. The dining area was surprisingly open with ample seating, and my party and I chose to settle in a booth.
The host seemed responsive initially, announcing our seating to the staff. But that's where the positive interaction ended. We spent the next 25 minutes waiting in vain for someone to attend to us. It was shocking to witness such poor service in a restaurant that was basically empty.
Adding to the confusion, a waitress glanced our way, only to never return. We were left in the lurch, feeling ignored and neglected.
The final blow came when we were told by the host that they weren't serving in the dining room. Why seat us there in the first place? His apathetic apology did nothing to make up for the lost time and mounting frustration. We ended up leaving without having had any food by 9 pm.
Another customer waiting for his pick-up order shared that this wasn't an unusual scenario at this location, which had prompted him to switch to take-out only.
As a regular BWW customer, it's sad to say, but the food's taste is overshadowed by the terrible service and unclean environment at this location. I believe it boils down to poor management, as I've highlighted these issues to BWW's headquarters previously with no visible improvements to show for it.
In short, until significant changes are made to the service and cleanliness at Buffalo Wild Wings, Manassas, VA, I recommend fellow wing lovers look elsewhere for their fix. Our loyalty to BWW deserves far better than this experience.
Update...... Although a lot of the issues that I stated above still exist. I have seen an improvement with the attentiveness of the staff. The food quality is still inconsistent especially if going during the middle of the week, but most of the current...
Read moreI'd give this joint five stars since my food and drink were timely and all and the overall ambience was just fine. However, there's a reason that I cannot. First and foremost, it's advertised on Google that they are open until 1am on Saturdays. Turns out this was not factual, which I noted on the door upon leaving. Came here to watch UFC 303 and not even 15 minutes after sitting down the bartender calls last call in 5 minutes at 1125. Followed by coming to pull drinks ar 12am. Now mind you they still have the fight going and that's the only reason they still are open. The co-main events had not even started. No one mentioned this comical situation upon arrival, which understandably would not have bothered to have a seat, drink and order had it been known. The bright spot was Ms. Caleigh who provided impeccable service in the midst of this ignorance for my one drink and food item.
I must say I've never been to a BWW that closed at midnight on a wknd before or after COVID until today, but rest assured I will not return. Again, how do you promote and show a fight but then stop serving drinks and food for what's likely to be another hour. Seems to be a bad business practice which ensures the servers and staff don't receive tips for how long customers are there and the patrons are sitting to watch with nothing to eat or drink. Let alone the cost that has to be to show a fight but then not bring in any additional income. And then to see they are literally giving people to go cups...
Sadly I could not stay to enjoy the rest of the card and will go to a sister store, Gainesville, or another establishment that has drinks, food, and the show. I wish the store much success but this...
Read moreVery disappointing and keeps getting worse.
I've been going to this Buffalo Wild Wings for several years now and it's noticeably declined in quality and service over the years. When I first moved to this area my step son and I could get lunch for around $30 and we would leave happy and fat. Anymore a normal lunch pushes $50+ and I leave annoyed.
The service is SLOW. The last few times we have gone we sit at our tables for 5-10 minutes before anyone even takes our drink orders. Then, it takes a while to get drinks back and order food... And you better be sure you know everything you want because you will probably not see your waiter again. It seems like the wait staff rarely brings you your food... Sometime from the kitchen does... They rarely refill your drinks... Someone else does (if you are lucky). And then you sit forever waiting for the main meal, the check, etc. Last time I was there at like 2pm on a Friday and nobody was in the restaurant and me and my kid were there for well over an hour... Just for wings and an appetizer (which all comes out at the same time)
Prices are high. It's chicken wings, not prime steaks.. appetizers keep going up, wings keep going up (with less qty per order). The rest of their food isn't very good... There's no justification other than I guess they have to pay for the 500 TVs and digital trivia games that nobody plays, and their new obnoxious clipboard style menu...
The only reason they get 2 stars instead of 1 is because they finally added normal buffalo sauce as a real sauce instead of a dry rub (why did it take so long. It's in your name!!)
I'll be steering clear of this place from now on and I suggest you...
