Al Ducci's Italian Pantry — Restaurant in Manchester

Is the food delicious? Yes! Should they work on customer service? Yes. I was in with my family and we had ordered a cold and warm sandwich at the counter--the sign for where to order was not on the counter and we were yelled at for being out of place. Already a rocky start, but still optimistic since I grew up nearby and heard amazing reviews. It was fairly quiet when we arrived, the only people placing a sandwich order. We order and are waiting in the small store, looking at goods. Many people came in and picked up ordered, ordered meats, ordered sandwiches, etc. There were six staff members in the deli/kitchen area and a woman at the register. After many people came and went and we had looked through every item in the store, we started wondering if we missed being called for our sandwiches--all the people after us had come and gone and we were still waiting. We inquired and were told they weren't done, that we weren't patient, and sandwiches take time--thirty minutes later. Ten minutes later, we inquired how much longer--so we could go sit outside or walk--and were told that we need to be patient, again. 40 min when it's been quiet and it was chicken breast and pesto on bread? Their attitude escalated the situation as it was implied we were impatient city folks who don't understand being understaffed from COVID. Far from the truth but very irrelevant and rude for how long it was taking after politely inquiring on when we should come back. Turns out they dropped the sandwich twice. Small but mighty Italian deli and market. Great selection of specialty items. I didn't get to try the sandwiches, but they look amazing. The market had a wide variety of items. They have a great selection of meats, local cheese, imported cheese, and tons of refrigerated and frozen items. Of course, they have packaged Italian favorites and pasta. Al Ducci's is by far one of my favorite places in Manchester! From the Delicious sandwiches, to the Homemade Italian entrees to take home, this place also offers so many other Amazing products! Patience is definitely key here because their small, but hardworking staff, tries to help everyone in a timely manner. When things get busy, they are still Smiling!
