Empire Kitchen — Restaurant in Manchester

First time I order from this place in 3 years i been living in Manchester and it will be the last time, i order by phone i was looking at the prices to make sure i stay within my budget i notice that the price i was looking is not the actual price he gave me, i didn't say anything because i figured they must went up the prices and since is my first time idk, they took a whole hour to bring my food and because I noticed they took more money then what it was in the price i gave the guy 2 dollars for tip since i usually give 5 dollars it made up for the 3 dollars extra they took, also when i gave the tip the guy actually looked and checked how much tip i gave him when he saw it was only 2 dollars his attitude changed and he went from being nice to being bother, the food was not fresh and not enjoyable 🤮 very disappointed thats why i hate trying...

Horrible experience. I ordered over the phone. The call taker was hard to understand and didn’t repeat my order back to me. According to the paper menu I had and the one online my food should have come out to 12.30 with tax. They charged me $15, so I asked him for a new menu since their prices must have gone up. He went to his car and brought me back a brand new menu but the prices were all the same. He started trying to make excuses, but His body language was indicative of having a guilty conscience of intentionally over charging me. I tipped him anyways, just to be proper. To add to the scam with the price the food was bland, tasteless and terrible! Tasted like it was out of a cheap frozen meal....and even that’s giving it to much credit! My advice would be to order from United China...

This was some of the worst Chinese I’ve eaten. Not sure what meat is inside those wontons but it was absolutely horrible along with the fact that their lobster was very clearly spoiled and a gray color all over. I immediately had sharp pains in my stomach after eating and ended up throwing away $60 worth of garbage food. Took over an hour to deliver and the lady taking my order was very difficult. We actually hung up mid order because she kept reading it back wrong and then they called back so we decided to play it off as an accident and give her another try. I’m not sure how many times I can repeat an order until it’s understood and it still arrived wrong. If your looking for a good place to get food poisoning and bad service...
