Let me start by saying I'm not one to be fussy or impatient about much. There are times I been to this Burger King and sometimes had a issue with maybe the staff forgetting a couple items from my order but still charged me I never was one to make big deal because I understand mistakes happen I don't really feel the need to go back ever so I don't. But tonight I experienced probably the worst that will guarantee I'll never go back.
I decided to go to this BK and I was stuck at the Drive Thru with 3 cars only. There was one customer inside already eating his lunch. I waited for over 10 minutes until the first car went up to the window. It took about another 10 minutes for the second car. Not trying to make a big deal about how long it was taking in the drive thru I find myself patient and just waited it out. Finally after a very long wait I get my turn it was dead silence for another about another 10 minutes until the guy finally said how can I help you. I gave one part of my order saw it come on the screen and all a sudden without a word guy stops talking my one part order disappears and I'm waiting for another 5 minutes. Guy comes back and doesn't say anything like he should which would apologize for the wait or anything instead he says in a pretty rude way my total and says just drive up. So I kindly say "oh sorry I'm not finished ordering yet." He asks what else I wanted and I was ordering a meal which I requested to replace fries with Onion Rings and next thing I hear is a big sigh obviously this guy doesn't want to help me I almost felt like leaving and just going somewhere else but I was finished and thought just take my food and go home and be done with it. I drive up to the window and a woman took my payment while the guy wouldn't even acknowledge I was there he gave me my drink and as he handed me my drink I asked if I could get some sauce and he decided to ignore me completely.

Read moreMy boyfriend and I went threw the drive thru tonight and boy was it an experience. Not only were the staff eating on the line but none of them were wearing any gloves. So my boyfriend and I ordered a whopper with a 4 piece nugget and as we drove up to the window to pay my boyfriend notices on the line an employee pick something off the line and put it in her mouth then take it out her mouth and threw it in the garbage. He then notices she didn't have any gloves on and repeatedly kept putting her hands in her pocket. Going against his better judgement he still allowed me to purchase the food. After we received the food and drove away we found the food was extremely cold. We then backed up into the driveway where we told the onsite manager who was working the window the food was cold he then told us we'll next time you have to ask for it fresh. Now I might not be the brightest tool in the shed but a Saturday pm around 9:45 pm you would expect your foof to be hot and fresh. Knowing it's one if the busiest days of the week. Not even being the busiest day of the week I should not have to ask for my food to be fresh it should be made fresh anyways. I then explained to him I should not have to ask for it fresh he then became extremely rude saying I could always go somewhere else and get my money back. We then said yes give us our money back. With no apology for the food being cold nor the experience we just had this was one of the worst times I have ever experienced at a fast food restaurant, especially being burger King one of my favorite places to eat. Read moreJust drove thru the drive thru in east Hartford and the girl said we can’t take your order thru the drive thru for 20 or so minutes. I asked if we could come in she said we are closed inside. Huh? It’s 8:50pm and we can’t order? No explanation. I could barely hear her as she was not trying to annunciate her words. She just kept saying wait 20 min or so. The girl was short and not apologetic!! Just closed for 20 minutes or so??? WHAT?? We drove to Manchester to the BK on Center st and right away there was a nice voice who was helping us. He explained some things on the menu for us. ( difference between all the whoppers and chicken sandwiches as we had a tough time reading is because the menu had names covered up) ) We don’t eat fast food very often. I was very hungry and picky. The gentleman didn’t make me feel bad for my order and alterations. When we got to the place to pay we were greeted with a nice smile from the young man who took our order. He was super nice and kind and I saw him double checking everything we asked for. I’m telling you he was the nicest guy I have ever had in my 47 year of going thru drive thrus. I found out his name was Ivan. Thank you Ivan. You were fantastic! For the 1st time I DID NOT check my order before driving away b/c I saw the attention to detail you had. I left happy and restored in humanity after the east Hartford situation. I wish everyone in customer service could be like Ivan! I will drive the extra time and go back to Manchester b/c of Ivan!!
