Imo's Pizza — Restaurant in Manchester

I am not a native St. Louisian. And for years I resisted this pizza. I hated it! I thought it was awful and that's mostly because of the cheese (and I love just about every kind of cheese out there). That provel just killed me. It tasted weird on it's own and even weirder when combined with their sweet sauce. But I recently heard a friend mention that you could request mozzarella instead of provel (or do 50/50).

Another factor that brought me around to giving Imo's another shot was the thin crust. Now that I've cut bread out of my day-to-day diet, I really don't miss it. So the idea of a thin, crisp crust is really attractive to me.

So, a few nights ago I went to this Imo's with my friend Ms. W to try Imo's for the first time in about seven years. I'd heard quite a few people talk about the Meat Pizza being awesome simply because of the sheer amount of bacon. I knew this was the pizza for me! I ordered a small Meat Pizza and planned on only eating half....yeah. That didn't happen! I ate the whole thing and I have no regrets! I'm officially...

Update: I accidentally used this location again and was very pleased with the service and the quality. It’s hard for me to forget how nasty that lady was the day I’d given them one star, but I guess one bad apple shouldn’t ruin the tree. Lol...

Two recent orders back in and I’ve decided to change my one Star to four. Yes, I take this review thing seriously!

I’ve placed countless ordered with them... they should know me.... after waiting over an hour, I call... I’m told it’s on it’s way. 40 min later no pizza. I call again this time I’m told they’ve been calling me = lie I was holding the phone the whole time.... they also claim they didn’t know which place was mine... you always deliver to me from the same account. Someone screwed up and instead of making it right they lied. Let this be a lesson Sheila. Don’t burn bridges with your consistent customers, wasting 3 hours of my time for something that wasn’t coming.

Long story short.... Someone different owns the one off Clarkson and delivers to the same address... for those...

Ordered pizza square meal and a large deluxe salad around 9 pm. We ate, watched a movie and went to bed. About 1 am my partner woke violently vomiting, I also had severe stomach pain. After we both stayed home from work because of the food related illness, I decided to crawl out of bed when they were open to call them to let them know about what we were experiencing and hopefully prevent others from getting sick. After letting the manager know what we had been through the night before she said "I don't know what to tell you we have NEVER had ANYONE COMPLAIN" (As if I'm a child just "complaining") offered no apologies, had a not my problem attitude and ended the conversation with "Well, I don't know what you want me to do, I'm just A manager here." Paid almost 50$ for food just to get sick and loose hundreds of dollars in lost wages and to be poorly treated. No thanks....
