The Diamond Family — Local services in Manchester

After several disappointing trips to various other large-name jewelers in the St. Louis area, we thankfully found The Diamond Family. Visits to other stores in the previous months left us uninspired; poor customer service, sparse inventory levels and very few designs to choose from (we were searching for a Men's wedding band). The only other great experience we had was at Tiffany's at the Plaza Frontenac, but their pricing was out of my budget, for the material I wanted.

After a final disappointing outing to West County Mall, I Googled jewelry stores nearby and found The Diamond Family - highly rated at an impressive 4.9 stars out of hundreds of reviews.

The moment we entered The Diamond Family showroom, we were warmly greeted by Michael and were even offered a drink (my fiancé gladly received a glass of scotch) while we browsed their inventory. The first thing I noticed was that they have a much larger selection of men's wedding bands than anywhere else we had looked. Various metals, designs, accents - there were plenty to look through. Michael went over their preferred line of wedding bands based upon my fiancé’s style and gave ring material suggestions as I considered different price points. In the end, we found the perfect 14kt white gold band, in an extreme comfort setting.

Their rings are made to order, and ours was ready for pick up just five days after ordering. I wanted special rings for our wedding rings and tried to find a place that would do custom rings. I wasn't getting very far until I found Edgar at the Diamond Family. Even though my customization request was pretty unusual Edgar worked with us to get rings that we were very happy with. Edgar was really patient with our changing ideas and was always happy to tweak and change our designs until we were satisfied and happy with the results. I appreciated Edgar's sense of urgency with response time to communication and also with what they were doing to make the rings happen on their end. I did not think the rings would be done before the wedding because we had a very short timeframe and my fiancé, and I had taken so long to finalize what we wanted but they actually made it happen! I was able to pick up my ring the day before we flew out to get married! The rings are absolutely stunning and exactly what I was hoping for. I really appreciated the packaging on the finished rings. It was a nice touch and really helped make the first look at the rings even more exciting. Another thing I appreciated about the experience at the Diamond Family was how it was a team effort. There was always somebody willing to jump in and help or answer questions even if Edgar wasn't available. It felt like everyone there was invested in the customer experience. The bar, the fireplace and the seating area make you feel real V.I.P when you are in there, that is a nice touch to the customer experience as well. What a great business! My girlfriend/now-fiancé and I had an absolutely wonderful experience purchasing an engagement ring from The Diamond Family! Perhaps like some of you reading this, we researched and visited jewelry stores in the St. Louis area and did extensive research online trying to decide where we should make such an important sentimental and financial decision.
