On July 29th at approximately 931pm I used the Drive Thru services of Wendy's on Broad Street in Manchester to place an order
Before commencing the order I asked the individual taking my order how many coupons was I allowed to use in the Drive Thru to which she responded two. I proceeded to give her the coupon information in addition to the rest of my order and drove around to the following window to pay
I received my food checked to ensure I received everything and then proceeded from the drive thru line
I then realized my total was a bit high and so I proceeded to review my receipt and realized the coupons were not applied
I went into the store and asked to speak.to the manager who quite rudely advised me she was the one who took my order someone else.collected the payment and it was my responsibility to give the coupons to.the person I'm paying.
I explained to the manager that other establishments such as Burger King does not require you to hand the coupons to the cashier furthermore the first thing I told.the person processing my order was I had coupons and no one asked me to submit same and finally I would.not know my order was handled by 2 separate individuals
She then rudely informed me again it was my responsibility to hand in my coupons and she was not going to change the order and walked away
I then asked one.of the employees to inform her I would.be returning the order for a full refund to which she commented I should go get the food. I exited the restaurant and started walking to my car as soon as I walked out.of the store one.of.the employees came up behind me and locked the door
I was totally appalled by this behavior. Since it was clear I could not reenter the store I left the premises
I wish I could have rated my experience zero but this medium does not allow for that
What I know for a fact is I will.never patronize another Wendy's store or its affiliates and I will encourage everyone not to patronize this entity
Shame on you Wendy's for such abhorrent...
Read moreI've never been to a Wendy's restaurant drive through where I wasn't greeted before being asked for my order. To make it worse, neither the person at the pay window, nor the one at the pick up window even acknowledged my cheery hello when I pulled up to each window. My teenage kids in the car with me were astounded. The food was just pushed out the window and I guess we were dismissed. Not even a response when I said thank you. My son who was in the car ahead of me said he experienced the same treatment. I'm giving the food the two (2) stars because Wendy's have always impressed me with their food and drinks. That's why I always choose them for any daddy meal. As for that location, I would never recommend anyone to go there. The manager who runs that place needs to train his staff in hospitality, not just how to flip a burger and push it through a window. I hope it's not a reflection on how the staff is treated behind the scenes, so they're now taking it out...
Read moreWendy's kids meals are customizable in ways that are not advertised; my daughter likes to get the "spicy chicken wrap kids meal", which is not actually an option on the menu but her request is never met with hesitation. Also, the "toy" that is included is rarely based on a licensed character. Rather, Wendy's offers, in my opinion, much better options than those from their competitors: typically an activity set of some kind. Around Christmas, we got a build_your_own gingerbread house with little gingerbread people. For Valentine's Day, Wendy's offered various packs of make-your-own Valentine's Day cards. Often times, they give themed building sets (most recent theme was Ocean). The building sets may be proprietary to Wendy's because I've not seen them anywhere else and every building set they've produced can be used with any previous Wendy's building set obtained. Over time, we've amassed enough sets that, when put together, we can build something rather...
