Dialectic Brewing Company is an amazing place and serves some of the best locally brewed beer I have ever tasted anywhere. The place is owned and operated by young husband and wife team Dylan and Hannah. Both are former PhD candidates, who decided to take a chance on following their dream and open their own brewery. Their passion for and commitment to great beer is evidenced in everything they do, from, first and foremost, the quality of their beers to the attention to detail in designing and decorating the interior of the bar.

At Dialectics you will not find TV's or loud music. Instead, you will find an atmosphere designed to make you feel at home, where strangers become neighbors who actually talk to one another and socialize. Dialectic is hands down my favorite brewery in Bismarck/Mandan. The owners; Dylan and Hannah, undoubtedly put their hearts into the business(including the beer). They always seem to have a wide variety of beers to suite any individual’s taste. Dialectic holds one of the best, if not the best peanut butter porter in town. The only problem is I struggle to stay devoted to just a single type of beer, as I constantly find myself enjoying a magnitude of others. I’ve also learned, they do a great job with their sodas as well. The only problem I’ve had with this brewery is the inability to catch a good sports game; however, the lack of televisions is made up with the abundance of games to play & laughs to share with friends/family. I absolutely love this place! The owners are amazing down-to-earth people. They have a true passion and knowledge for their craft. Take a few extra minutes and really talk to them and they can truly explain so much about what you're drinking why it was created and how it was created. Ask about how they name their beers. very fascinating stories and there is a story for every beer. They are strong supporters of the community. The beer is outstanding!
