This was my first time coming here, and I was very excited to come for dinner (10/19/21). I am a server in fine dining. My boyfriend is a bartender in fine dining as well, so we know what is expected of a server especially in a dining setting like Fazzios. My server was Teri P, and unfortunately was the reason I did not have a good experience. The calamari was great, and the chicken parmesan was also very good. I immediately felt like my server Teri was judging us for being a young couple (worried abt tip). My boyfriend has a nut allergy and when asking about ingredients she was very rude. Teri did not seem as invested in our dining experience, as compared to the other tables she had. They were out of Tiramisu for desert, so we decided to try the bread pudding instead. We tried 2 bites and did not really care for it. When I asked if it could be taken off or exchanged for something else Teri responded with “ We don't operate that way.” Being a server myself, I want to accommodate my guest so they have a pleasant experience and want to return, even if something isn't their preference or to their liking. Teri sent over (the manager) which seemed like another server, which if it was the manager she was also rude and a bad representation for the restaurant. The food was delicious (aside from the bread pudding). Solely based off of the terrible service I will not be returning. I am extremely dissatisfied, because we spent $90 on this dinner. If my service would have been up to the fine dining standards presented this would have been a $20-$30+ tip for Teri. Your employees should be focused on the dining experience for your guest, but instead Teri was focused on what might’ve been a small tip from a young couple. This is a prime example as to why I no longer enjoy dining out, being a server myself. Service is the most important aspect of a restaurant. Fassios clearly does not have service and guest experience as a priority, this was proven to me by “the manager” that came to my table. I am very sadly...
Read moreWent here with my wife on Thursday for dinner. Great atmosphere with a really nice layout. Bar in front, dining area in back with a small party room. We were seated quickly, greeted and placed our orders. We got the spinach and artichoke dip to start, the Jimbob Shrimp for me, and my wife got the Veal Royale. Our starter was fantastic. The spin dip was cheesy and the flour tortilla chips were great! My wife’s meal was the best of the two. The veal was PERFECT. The right amount of crabmeat cream sauce and a very generous helping of veal. There wasn’t anything wrong with my meal but hers was the better one. My stuffed shrimp were seasoned and had a good amount of crabmeat in them. (I can’t stand it when the stuffing is 97% breading.). The crabmeat cream sauce was tasty with the shrimp and noodles! We finished with the brownie a la mode. The dessert was the only part that was a bit underwhelming. After all the greatness we had experienced that point, the brownie was huge with a tiny scoop of ice cream and whip cream on top. You gotta have the right ice cream to brownie ratio so start popping another scoop of ice cream on that brownie and it’ll match the greatness of the rest of the meal. We will definitely be back to check the ice cream to brownie ratio in...
Read moreFirst time at Fazzio's ... about five minutes after being seated by the hostess, she noticed that our waitress had yet to come over to take our drink order, so she came back over and took the order for the waitress. Upon delivering the drinks, the waitress silently set them down and walked away without so much as a hello or an introduction. The waitress later brought bread for the table, again without saying a single word. About half an hour had passed from the time of being seated and our waitress did not acknowledge us one time. Felt very off putting and somewhat demoralizing. After our plates were served, she didn't come back to check up on us at all. Can't say if the food was good or not because we were so hungry at the point, it all tasted the same. Once we finished eating, we waited patiently (as the restaurant was quite busy) for the final check-in from the waitress...which never happened. The hostess noticed we were done and came over with a box (thank you). At long last, the waitress brought the check over and that was it. This bad review probably will not impact the amount of traffic Fazzio's sees, but never have I ever had that horrible a service. So disheartened and disappointed by the...
