Update:7/30/23 My wife and daughter decided they wanted cookies tonight. The ladies helping us were very nice and willing to make anything we needed. Much improved from last time. I will give another star for this good interaction.
5/6/23 We decided to try this place again and as we walked in they had very few cookies made. No big deal. I saw chocolate chip cookies so I was going to have them just make me a Double Doozie...The girl helping us decided since she couldn't find the tool to immediately open the frosting (and she just closed it a few minutes ago) that she didn't feel like opening it back up....she offered me what they had already made...I didn't want that though. This is what I get for giving them a 2nd chance I guess.
10/9/22 Just went to pick up my daughter's birthday cake.. Cake was completely made wrong they said they would remake it before 10:00 tonight... Go to pick up the remade cake just to find out it was the same cake but they added the simple design on the very bottom corner instead of the entire cake. Unfortunately it's too late to have another one made so they've decided to contact the owner the owner was only willing to give me 20% off of this huge mess up. Unfortunately I'm now stuck with a cake that we did not really want. I would highly recommend you go to the location in Covington. They seem to have their stuff...

Upon calling met back, I expressed my concerns- 1) Me- Hours on Google say you are open until 9 yet you refused to serve us at 8:01. Manager/Katie- I have tried to get Google to fix the hours but they will not because I am not the owner. Thought- So no one has informed the owner?? 2) Me- We walked in at 8:01 and waited in line to be served, only to get to the counter and be told we came after close (8pm) and would not be served. Why would the worker not say sorry we are closed when we entered vs waiting for 3 parties to be served. Manager- Maybe they thought you were part of the last group. Thought- Makes no sense as we would have been served then! 3) Me- When a customer asks for the manager, what is your process? Manager- Oh they call me. Thought- Why didn’t Tyler last night? 4) Me- If we were the last in, waited in line, entered 1min after your non-Google closing hours, why would you not serve the customer when nothing was picked up and there were several customers still seated? Read moreBeware this location is charging a random service fee charge without notice. I am assuming this may be a credit card fee, but I did not see any written notice of this documented anywhere. I have never been to a Marble Slab that did this before.
It is law they must state additional charges like this very clearly, usually by their register, so that people can opt to pay cash (assuming that’s what this fee was even for! Since there was no written notice of what it was) or continue the transaction.
I’ve sent in a report to the FTC with a copy of my receipt and a picture of the register with nothing displayed. With enough reports you can end up investigated, and fined. I recommend you rectify this promptly. It’s not legal.
We won’t be back. We’ll try the other location next time and see if they’re doing...
