The Poboy Company — Restaurant in Mandeville

My brother and I went here for the first time today as we were in the area. For other reasons. It's a smaller restaurant where you order at the counter and sit down and they bring you your food. I had the ferdie po-boy which is roast beef and ham with swiss cheese. We also had a fried shrimp po-boy and then Sheridan order of the gravy fries which is french fries with roast beef gravy and pieces of roast beef with two types of cheese melted on top. Everything was very good. Roast beef was nice and tender. Almost like a shaved type of cut. Was loaded up with plenty of beef. It's hard to tell from my pictures but it had lots of beef. Shrimp. Po-boy was also stuffed very full. They use gulf shrimp which is good and they were fried perfectly. The fries were also very very good. They don't skimp on the cheese. Lots of roast beef also and gravy under the cheese. The fries themselves are excellent. Server was very friendly as well. Food came out quickly. I will definitely be back if I am in the area again. The only thing I can suggest For improvement is that For Guess who are dining in, they should serve you on real plates With real forks and knives rather than serving everything in to go boxes, With plastic utensils.... but that's not a huge...

Stopped in here for lunch. I was really wanting a poboy. Saw this spot on our way to where we were going and pulled in. I got the fried shrimp poboy,dressed of course. Along with an order of spicy cheesey fries. The food was ready quite quickly. The fries were crispy and covered in cheese with just a slight bit of spice. Nothing spicy at all which was fine because there is plenty of hot sauce there to adjust.

The fries shrimp poboy was huge I ordered the large to share. This sandwich was stuffed with fried shrimp. I could tell that I wasn't in Vegas anymore! The shrimp were plump and had a good flavor to them as well. This was a great sandwich. I ate half and we picked at the shrimp on the other half of the sandwich. Along with the fries it was so much food we couldn't finish it. Well worth every dollar we spent here and I highly recommend you give this little...

Very pleasantly surprised! My husband and I had a doctor's appt in mandeville so we stopped for lunch. I had the Ferdie ( roast beef, grilled ham, and Swiss cheese) hubby had the surf n turf (roast beef and fried shrimp) they both were delicious! Very flavorful roast beef, it just needed a little more gravy, which I asked for and the young lady provided with no problem. The bread was perfect poboy bread, IYKYK! The onion rings were real homemade onion rings and were delicious. The spicy cheese fries were good as well l, they definitely don't skimp on the cheese! The service was excellent. The young lady at the counter is finery customer friendly. She greets you when you walk in the door and thanks you for your service when you leave. While eating in she comes to the table to check on how you are enjoying the food. We will...
