Caffe Luxxe — Restaurant in Manhattan Beach

One of the only coffee places where ALL the Baristas (about 6-7 of them) make excellent coffee, which is a rarity since most coffee places have new people that are learning or some don’t care. Another amazing thing is that their to go cappuccino is just as good as the one made in a ceramic cup, which also is very unusual. The shape of the ceramic cup being wider and how the steam milk is poured usually makes for a much better tasting coffee than a traditional tall to go cup. These good reviews must be paid for as the staff are the rudest I have ever experienced. Talking among themselves, they don't even turn around to take your order. I had specific questions about ingredients due to my husband's medical condition and I was dismissed and hurried out the way, they made me feel like I was just being fussy. I gave them another chance and the same thing happened again. My elderly parents also had a similar experience and a friend visiting from overseas said the staff were very unhelpful compared to most other establishments. This place was awesome! So cute! The staff was very helpful to me in deciding which drink to try and explaining about the place. It’s a very nice place to stop by as you’re walking down the street, right next to a really cute bookstore as well! So close to the beach, too! They said Cafe Nico was most popular beverage overall (all venues) but at that location it was the shakerato, which was why I went with that one and it was delicious!
