I went to dinner with a friend. I arrived first. When the hostess greeted me I asked her if my friend and I could sit at a 4 top and I pointed at a specific one in the middle of the restaurant. I requested this because my friend and I are rather large and need the extra room. I don't usually do this but the dinning room had 4 open 4 tops and the restaurant wasn't busy so I figured it would be a problem. Well, it was a problem I guess. Something about the server in that section had just been sat, and they need it stick me at a 2 top right under a huge tv because that was the next server that was due a table. I once again reiterated that my friend and I were very large men and sitting at that 2 top would be a great inconvenience. After a bit of grumbling she cleaned off a 4 top at the edge of the restaurant (right next to the front door so we were freezing). We were then seated and proceeded to wait for our server. 10 min later are server came and took our drink order. Took her 5 min to bring back our drinks. 15 min after that she took our food order. 20 min after that my friend got his Bird Dogs (he loved them btw). My food was still cooking I guess. I order 10 Traditional wings. Nothing else. I got my food at 7:15. It took an hour to get sat, food ordered, and food delivered. Meanwhile, the entire time my friend and I were sat, I counted 4 tables that arrived after us that were sat, served, and cashed out and left in the time we were waiting to get our order taken and food delivered. We then had to track down the host to find our server so we could pay since we had a Basketball game to get to that tipped off at 8:00. We barely made it before tipoff. It was a very frustrating visit to BWW. Not sure if I will ever go back which is sad, because I had been going to that location for...
Read moreThe family and I decided to stop by BWW on Monday evening and the service started out good but everything went downhill quickly. Drinks seemed to take forever to get refilled, one meal had to have been forgotten or the server failed to put in the meal, because we had to ask about it. It FINALLY arrived about 15 minutes after everyone else’s and by then the rest of us were done eating. We also had several condiments that were forgotten and the adult beverages sat at the end of the bar for several minutes before they were delivered. Don’t get me wrong there were other patrons there too, but there were at least four servers and the place by far was not full enough for this many issues. The worst part is they didn’t apologize for the delay or even compensate a portion of their ticket.
When the checks arrived, two family members asked about Military and First Responders discount, and the server seemed annoyed that the tickets would have needed to be revised. After some discussion with other staff, the server came back and only allowed the one member who is Military to get a discount. Keep in mind we had 6 adults and a toddler and in total there were three separate tickets, so it’s not like we were trying to double dip on discounts. Both of the family members provided proof for the discount, and honestly they deserve it. If you google on BWW website, it clearly states that they offer Military and First Responders discount, so I am not certain as to why a firefighter was denied the discount. If it on the website, and you refuse someone a discount for serving, then shame on you all.
Hopefully management will educate the staff about timely...
Read moreI recently dined at the Buffalo Wild Wings here and unfortunately had a less than ideal experience.
From the moment we walked in, we were met with an unpleasant odor that strongly resembled sewage. This significantly impacted our dining experience and made it difficult to enjoy our meal.
To add to the unpleasant atmosphere, the service felt quite rushed. Our server repeatedly mentioned the closing time of 12:00 AM, urging us to place our order quickly. This created a sense of pressure and made the dining experience less enjoyable. It felt as though we were being hurried out rather than being welcomed as guests.
Furthermore, my boyfriend was not offered a side dish with his entrée. The server seemed to have assumed he wanted fries which is not his preference. This oversight led to a slightly disappointing meal for him.
To add to our frustrations, for the remainder of our dining experience, the manager took over as our server. While the manager was polite, it further emphasized the rushed atmosphere and created an awkward dynamic.
While I understand the need to close on time, I believe there are more subtle ways to communicate this to customers. Perhaps a gentle reminder about the closing time during the initial greeting would have been more appropriate.
Despite these issues, the food itself was still up to the usual Buffalo Wild Wings standards.
Overall: I was extremely disappointed with the rushed service, communication issues, and the unpleasant odor at this location. I would not recommend...
