Extremely Disappointing Experience - Lack of Accountability and Customer Service
On April 27th, I made a significant online order of $474 for our college baseball team, scheduled for delivery at 1:30 PM in between a doubleheader. However, what followed was a series of disappointments and frustrations that deeply tarnished our experience with Jimmy John's.
Despite numerous attempts to contact the store when the order did not arrive, there was no answer until 2:45 PM, and even then, I was told to wait an additional 15 minutes. When a family member was sent to the store to expedite the process, it was shocking to discover that the order hadn't even been started by 3:00 PM, despite observing 28 walk-in customers and drive-thru customers receiving their orders promptly.
Furthermore, upon finally receiving the order at 4:00 PM, when my family member arrived with the food, multiple items were missing, leaving several players without proper sustenance, impacting their performance during the second game of the doubleheader.
Despite my efforts to address these issues with the store and speak with a manager, there has been a complete lack of accountability and resolution. Today I drove to the store and spoke with the store manager, who could only offer apologies without any tangible solution or compensation.
As a customer and supporter of Jimmy John's, this experience falls far below the standards of quality and efficiency I have come to expect. I urge Jimmy John's to take this matter seriously and restore my faith in the brand by addressing these issues promptly and...
Read moreMy very expensive Caprese Salami sandwich had virtually nothing in it...less than a spoonful of pesto and NO Cheese...the Mozzarella is what makes the sandwich and not a shred of cheese!!!! We ordered 1 meal deal...supposed to come with a bag of chips and a drink and a single Caprese Salami sandwich...we had a long wait in the drive thru as we watched a huge delivery order get filled thru the glass and the guy took the two sandwiches we ordered and threw them in a bag and gave them to us...I questioned where was the bag of chips and he said we don't get one with just a sandwich..I had to remind him we got one combo and the second one was just the sandwich...after all he took the order...then he pretty much tossed the bag of chips thru the window...really bad attitude...we were traveling home after a 31/2 hour doctor appointment and were tired and hungry... we drove for a while until we got to an open parking lot closer to home to stop and eat...it was there we had the disappointment of the sandwiches...we paid almost $21 for two substandard sandwiches...a tiny bag of chips and one drink to share...my Caprese sandwich was nothing like the pictures on TV or what was described on the board at the drive thru... Read moreFirst of all, they say they are under staff yet don't look at applications or answer calls. I've called asking for a manager and they said he's busy then my bf did and they got him on the phone. I've tried multiple times but for some reason they don't want women or want to give others a chance. I've worked at Jimmy johns before and have customer service and food service experience for more than a year. Their employees are not very nice especially on the phone, they don't say hello or anything, sometimes they just stand there quiet. They don't know how to talk to customers. I would be a great team member but instead they want employees who hate their jobs. I also called to get a sandwich using an account and the guy thought it was weird or something to have different accounts with the same phone number for rewards. Like why does it matter? The sandwich isn't coming out of your paycheck. At the end of the night they have a few breads to throw away anyways. And when I also asked to make sure the bread was soft he was like "oh its just the crust thats how bread is" like uhm most breads are soft but a few can be really hard. I've literally worked at Jimmy Johns before so I know how it is. This state and people here are just really rude and have attitude and don't care about giving...
