Expensive, but a very nice way to get together with friends or family once in a while. The atmosphere is great, but the food is average. I felt the selection used to be better. The reservation procedures, unfortunately, are terrible. Would I come back? Maybe sometime far in the future, but it's not something I would do even once a year.
Their reservation setup was terrible. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone and they do not return calls. I booked online first thing in the morning, and the only timeslots were after 12PM (it starts at 10:30AM). I was able to get in touch with them via e-mail, and fortunately was able to switch to an earlier time, being told there were plenty of earlier spots left. I'm not sure why they tried to force everyone into later time slots. It was very frustrating.
When we arrived and were just sitting down, the hostess told us we had 90 minutes to eat. I understand they want to keep people moving through, but this was very tacky, especially when we were paying nearly $200 for 4 people (excluding tip). To be fair, beyond this one comment, we didn't feel rushed and it turned out to be a very relaxing time. (Worth mentioning is there were open tables the entire time we were there). The servers we dealt with were all nice. Some of the people at the stations were rather apathetic, though.
The food was average overall. The roast beef at the carving station was very good, the salad bar was nice, and the fruit was surprisingly fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, the bread selection was pitifully bad, the ice cream was a store brand (I believe they used to use the higher-quality Turkey Hill), and they used a slice of processed cheddar cheese in the omelet instead of shredded so it glopped in the center. This may sound overly nitpicky, but considering they market this brunch as a premium product (not to mention the premium pricing) these are very easy fixes that don't really cut into the bottom line.
Overall, you are going for the atmosphere...and it is fun. I do feel it used to be a bit better. Just realize this is essentially banquet food served in a...

I booked a party of 6 for the Champagne Brunch for Father’s Day at 11:15 6/16/2024. When I booked online, I specifically noted that it was my son's birthday. I received a call shortly after to confirm the reservation, and made sure they had that noted, and that we'd like to be seated in the courtyard. Upon arrival, we checked in and waited to be seated. When the hostess told us our table was ready, she proceeded to take us into Arthur's Terrace. I reiterated that we had requested a courtyard table, and after speaking to a manager, she found us an open table in the courtyard. I must say, this is where our disappointment began. There was no acknowledgment of my son's birthday whatsoever. I remember coming to your Sunday Brunch, and they would at least put a balloon or card at the table. The server Saron (?) wasn't even made aware of this. We have been to the Eden many times in the past for brunch, but haven't been back since before Covid shut it down. We were really looking forward to the high-end selection and quality of offering we grew accustomed to. I must say we were really let down at how pared back the offerings were. A few examples: the wonderful fresh made blintzes are gone, bagles with lox, spreads, etc are no more. The eggs benedict muffins were so hard and dried out, that we had to take the poached eggs off to eat. The pasta station sauces were watery and flavorless. My total bill came to $360.23 for a meal that left much to be desired. For $48 per person, we should expect an exceptional dining experience. I do truly hope that this was the exception and not the rule of what to expect at your brunches in the future. I sent an email with this exact assessment to the GM, as well as the survey I was sent and have had no...
Read moreOh how the mighty have fallen. This place is still elegant in terms of physical appearance and I still love the live piano player, but the food and the service are a fraction the quality from before COVID. The staff as a whole seem untrained as they struggled with all aspects of our meal. Sticking to the highlights they sat us 20 minutes late with more than half the dining room empty from our reserved time, did not know where our physical table was which required manager help, could not find tea for our bottomless tea/coffee and when they did it was cheap Lipton, they forgot to refill our waters, and when paying the handheld card terminal’s battery died mid transaction. In terms of food the selection is half what they had before COVID and everything is noticeably cheaper. Gone is the 3rd meat option from the carving station and instead all meats are much more salty/watery/lacking flavor, gone is the veal and other premium offerings at the entree station, and even simple brunch items like pancakes and french toast are missing. Premade items especially bread have dramatically increased though especially at the entree and desert tables. All in all this now feels like a “fancy” brunch that’s actually missing everything that made it fancy to begin with. Couple that with a premium price for not a single premium offering and it unfortunately makes this an easy pass.
Original Review from 2019: This is one of the best brunches I've ever been to. There were tons of options when I was there such as a build your own pasta bowl, carving station (lamb, ham, roast beef), breakfast (eggs, baked goods, bacon, sausage, cinnamon buns, pancakes, French toast), a huge dessert bar, Veal, and more. The live piano music was also a nice touch and the decor is amazing. This place is however super super busy - be careful navigating between stations and I highly recommend you get a reservation...
