My recent visit to Olde Hickory Grille was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The ambiance is perfect for a relaxing meal, whether you're out with friends, family, or enjoying some alone time.

The menu offers a wonderful variety of dishes, each prepared with evident care and high-quality ingredients. Everything was flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The sides were equally impressive, particularly the sweet potato fries which were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way I like them.

What truly stood out to me was the exceptional service. Our server, Hazam, was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. He was knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and making sure our needs were met without being intrusive. Hazam’s genuine passion for his work and dedication to making guests feel welcome added a special touch to our visit.

In a world where dining out can sometimes feel rushed and impersonal, Olde Hickory Grille and Hazam provided a refreshing and heartwarming experience. I left with a full stomach and a happy heart, already looking forward to my next visit. If you’re in the area and looking for a place with delicious food and outstanding service, Olde Hickory Grille is...

My associate told me they had relatively new owners, though I can't verify that. We arrived at about 12:10PM on a Saturday. We waited 10 to 15 minutes before getting a menu and another 35 minutes after placing an order for a sandwich/fries plus an omelet. The sandwich and fries were both heavily salted, particularly the fries. The omelet was overdone. I had two bites of the sandwich and two fries before stopping. My associate ate about 1/2 of the omelet. I told the waitress how bad the food was. I paid for it at the register, left an undeservedly large tip, and then sought out the owner. I told the owner I thought that might be the worst meal I had in several years, that I was about to go elsewhere to get some food, and that everything was loaded with extra salt. I think the owner was surprised at my statements. I immediately left, not giving the owner an opportunity to address the situation or make it right.

Needless to say, I will not be returning even though I live nearby. If you try them, I strongly suggest you tell them not to add extra salt in large quantities...

We came in for lunch today, October 8 2023. The girl at the front counter did not take names and she did not give any numbers out. She was not keeping track of who was next to be seated. People were coming into the restaurant in large numbers and she was not keeping track of who was ahead of who for seating. She took several groups ahead of us although we had been standing there waiting much longer than those that came in after us. We left the restaurant because we were getting uncomfortable from standing so long. And we were ignored by the hostess except when we greeted her when we arrived. We then called the restaurant to suggest that the girl either take peoples’names or give them a number as they entered the restaurant. A young man answered the phone. He told us that they are busy. We KNEW that and we knew we would wait for a table. But, when she took several people who came in after us, we thought how disorganized this was. So, we tried to suggest a system the young man to be fair to the customers and he became rude on the phone - this was totally...

Hidden Gem in Manheim Township – Old School Charm and Friendly Vibes Tucked away in the Old Hickory Village area of Lancaster’s Manheim Township, this spot might not catch your eye at first glance — but don’t let its modest, old-school appearance fool you. What it lacks in modern flair, it more than makes up for in character and warmth. The gym has a nostalgic, almost throwback feel to it — the kind of place that reminds you of a tight-knit community gathering spot from back in the day. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. While I was there, a young gentleman was in the middle of a training session near the river and even then, he and the team took the time to help me understand the menu and make me feel right at home. It’s rare to find places like this anymore — simple, genuine, and rooted in that sense of neighborhood familiarity. If you’re ever in the area and want to experience something a little different from the usual polished chain establishments, this hidden gem is worth the visit.

This place had the best banana caramel pecan pancakes that I have ever had. I mainly go to these diner style places for breakfast, and their breakfast did not disappoint. I’m not sure what all the bad reviews are for?! The service could have been a little more attentive, but our waitress was busy and a lot of people were coming in after a church rush I’m assuming. The coffee also could have been a little better but for the most part, we were very satisfied with our meals! Not to mention they have some of the biggest sausage links that I’ve ever saw. super yummy though. .

Today's our last day here in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and after checking out from the Hotel, we stopped here for breakfast before the search of some final fabric for another of Kit's Quilting project's... Today was the Sunrise Breakfast Sandwich with hash browns. Kit chose Bacon, Eggs and Cheese on a large sandwich size English Muffin. I had Ham, Eggs and Cheese on the large sandwich size English Muffin with SPK... I also had a side of Sausage Links. Everything was delicious and satisfying. Another Home Run by a Small Business!!!
