Slow service, mediocre food. This is a corner pizza shop mascaraing as a bistro.
The service was aweful. My wife and I sat for a half hour after ordering our food and drinks before they arrived. Then our drinks, salads, and entrees arrived at the same time. Our waitress said that was the kitchen's fault.
The food was nothing but mediocre - it wasn't terrible, but I was unhappy that I had paid money for it. The mushroom ravioli tasted bitter and old, the meatballs were clearly frozen, the sauce was overly sweet and the pasta was overcooked and flaccid. It's the same kind of frozen food you'd gent from the little pizza shop down the street, which is fine, but not what Salt and Pepper markets itself as.

Manicotti for 17.00 came with 3 pieces. The entire dish, manicotti and sauce had no flavor. Like zero, non existent, nothing. Salad that came with it was mostly brown, so that didn't get touched.
Bruschetta was an absolute joke. THICK slices of warm bread with flavorless bruschetta and no balsamic drizzle or anything on top. They were so thick they literally smushed down the bread in the middle in order to put the bruschetta. Very strange, never in my life have I seen this before.
I would say their homeade bread is good, but that is it. Very...
Read moreLovely little Italian bistro. We just stopped in for lunch and were amazed by the menu choices available. I opted for the veggie Stromboli - which had plenty of broccoli, peppers, tomatoes and onions. The crust was really good, as was the marinara on the side. My friend ordered the gluten free spinach Florentine pizza, which came with generous chunks of chicken, spinach and mozzarella. The crust seemed a little dry but I'm not sure if that is the way gluten free crust tends to be. The service was attentive and patient. All COVID precautions were in place. And prices are very reasonable! Great little place! I...
