Taco John's — Restaurant in Mankato

The gentleman working the Madison location in Mankato, MN. They know what they are doing. They are a great example of the high service there still can be, and should be in ALL food service settings. These men here at the 1040 Madison Ave Mankato , MN store should be given a pay raise and become a real world training store. I would say that maybe the tv channel should be set to more of something national park related or forestry type shows. So that there is much less of a chance of people being offended by what they see or hear in a program that is not controlled. This is an olden way that should have never been forgotten!!! These men today reminded me that we as mankind can do better. MUCH BETTER! As the men at the Madison store proved at 1:44pm on July 5th 2025 After finishing my meal. 4/28/19 Just so I can put this down while it's fresh in my memory. I came here tonight because I wanted a decent meal. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and a chicken grilled burrito. While the quesadilla was being made in the flat grill, one of the young ladies opened it up before it was done and made a mess of the quesadilla. She took my chicken grilled burrito and placed it bare on the counter, took a spatula and started scraping the mess off the griller. THEN, she wiped the spatula on the trash can and when back to the griller, WITH the same spatula, and proceeded to continue scraping the griller. NO. Absolutely NO. When I asked the cashier about it, he said she would be sanitizing the griller. But then my chicken grilled burrito had been laying on the counter this whole time. NO. Not gonna happen. I asked for my money back and left. I will never go in this...

Went threw the drive threw . Ordered 2 tacos potatoe ole & cheese . Payed . He gave me a drink that I didn’t order ( I think it was Pepsi) pulled ahead to the trash can . I ate one ole that was made yesterday & no dipping cheese . Proceeded to go back threw the drive threw . In attempts to correct the order I asked for fresh oles & the cheese that I never got . He says that will be another $4. I pull to the window. He demands the money . I set the rotten oles on the window . He says I can’t do that a demands for another $4 . I tell him no . I just want my order correctly . After 3 cars are behind me he shoves a bag out the window saying fine . The drink may have gone with 2 tacos (idk) but I wasn’t asked what to drink. Smallest tacos ever , hardly any cheese on them , more in the wrapper.

Very rude , will never come to this location again .Madison...
