The last two times i’ve been in here the guy who usually makes the shakes seems to embarrass and make his customers feel uncomfortable.. especially me and my friends. I simply asked if they carried chocolate chips (because most shake shops carry them for their shakes & the one i usually go to at home) and he continued to say “no we usually keep things healthy around here” as there is oreos sitting on the counter and the shake of day was “soma cookie”. Staff is wonderful and the product is outstanding. This shop did fun activities like Toss Tuesday as well (not sure if they are still doing it due to COVID at the moment). The staff tries to keep you engaged but also have some time to yourself if you'd like. They offer product to make their shakes or tea at home if you'd like but do not push you into buying. Very welcoming...

The team at Mad Ave is AMAZING! They always give you a good conversation while you're waiting and have the tastiest, most creative flavors I have ever seen! Kim has an amazing story, you should stop in and ask her about it! I love their snores shake and bomb pop tea. But really, any flavor of the month is my new "favorite"!...
