I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE AT THIS STORE TODAY. I placed an order yesterday for 2 box o joe to be ready for 6:10am. When I arrived at the store no one greeted me inside and let me stand at the counter for 10 minutes. Every time I tried to get someone's attention all I get was the 1 minute motion and she said we are short handed be patient. Again at 6:30 knowing I did not see my order anywhere in site I tried to get someone's attention and once again the 1 minute hand motion and was told we are short handed you need to be patient. At that point I said I am patient but I have an order that was supposed to be ready at 6:10 and it has not even been started I need the order for a meeting that is starting now. Once again I was ignored but some man started working on the order. After waiting again another 10 minutes I spoke up and said I really need to get out of here who is the manager. At that point the man taking his time working on the order said what is the problem and one of the girls said I told her to be patient and she is not. I got upset at that point and asked for the manager or regional manager name and the man said wouldn't you like to know. The good thing about Dunkin Donuts are we are a franchise and individually owned and I want you out of my store now. He very loud and unprofessionally said since I was not patient and upset he refused to give me my order and I needed to leave the store immediately. I said so you are refusing to give me my order???? I want to know someone who I could report this to. They said their is no one and to leave. I said I promise I will make sure this encounter blows up and everyone knows how horrible they treat customers and how unprofessional they are. Besides the point that as I sat there for over 1/2 hour I watched them spill coffee everywhere, was extremely dirty. Did not clean up after themselves and just did not care what they were giving to the people in the drive through. Everyone needs to know that this store has no customer service skills and does not care about the customer at all. He specifically said that the only thing they needed to worry about was getting the drive thru line gone. So if you walk into the store they do not need to worry about you because you are not being timed and your order is not being looked at. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!!!!! It's not worth the way they treat people and the chance you are taking with the store being...
Read moreWarning! Highly unproffesional. Cups, lids dropped on floor- used anyway. Spoons for mixing never rinsed till afternoon. Manager enforces. The highchairs disgusting. The back is disgusting. I don't know how they pass sanitation. Worked there for 3 days. 8 hour days. No breaks. No instructions. Very rude. The girl training me was so nasty, I ended up crying. Constantly shaking her head at me. I come from a REAL coffee shop, which I MANAGED. Not this kind of espresso syrup in frozen drinks, or pre filled espresso. I also was a bartender at one point. The way these people work. It was one big mess! 3 people telling me 3 different things. I received no paper work. No books. Nothing. I was yelled at for laughing/talking to the only nice girl there, while I was cleaning the NASTY counters. There was no direction. I showed up early, left late. Due to snow, I was 2 minutes late. I was informed that if i was ever late I wouldn't recieve tips. (Didn't matter I showed up 10 minutes early the day before, left late) After one of the women there gave me a hard time,(in the evening they don't have to imput flavors on the computer, more like this particular woman) she yelled at me. I was only there for 3 days! I couldnt go back. Infact, the store manager said to me on my second day that if I couldn't handle it to let her know. Their "owner" Rich said I was doing well and to ignore it. Anyway, I could not go back. The pay bi-wkly. I waited a month. I ended up forgot. Because PA law says employers are to MAIL paychecks. I started trying to call in the last month. No answer. Then the phone is busy EVERY DAY in the evening. No help from Rich's other store Centerville. I finally recieve a call today. Apparently, due to not giving 2 wks notice Rich dropped my pay from $10 hourly to $7.35 hourly. That is illegal as I never signed a paper agreeing to that, nor did I recieve a handbook saying that. On top of that the store manager practically said I...
Read moreI've had two recent experiences with Dunkin Donuts one today and one two weeks ago. Inside the staff was proficient and I got my order quickly I ordered a box of donuts then I sat with a friend and enjoy the nice environment. Today I went inside order a cup of coffee had a really nice experience again inside but the staff was not as friendly this time. But the coffee was good. I then went into the drive thru because I just decided to order another box of donuts. I wanted to choose how many glazed donuts I want it for my order of a dozen, as well as some of my favorites. The middle age sounding woman who was taking my order said that it was not possible to order an assortment of donuts through the drive-thru that I have to come back inside. She said that she could give me a swimming but with only one glazed donut even though my family likes half a dozen of glazed usually. When I asked her if this was a new policy she said that this Dunkin Donuts have been doing it this way for 5 years and that the owner wouldn't change this policy. She didn't sound very helpful or very sorry that I couldn't order from the picture showing the different kind of donuts just right outside my car door on the order wall. How hard is it to take an order for six glazed donuts 3 chocolate donuts and three jelly Phil Donuts? If they already have a pre assorted box for the people in drive-thru were you get one glazed donut does that mean that they're not as fresh as if you were to come inside and get it? I don't think this is a good policy for Dunkin Donuts to have and will hurt business as I decided not to come back inside or ordered any donuts. Maybe it's time to bring into Lancaster Krispy...
