BE AWARE!!! I ordered take out and went back to complain about how Sick I felt after eating and she BLAMED ME saying..."MAYBE YOU EAT TO FAST." The customer is always right. For starters the Lady was nice at the front desk (AT FIRST) but, the food was Terrible. I got the BBQ bone in spare ribs with pork fried rice and WonTon soup lunch special. $8.00 I figure I'll give it a try since I was in a rush shopping in the plaza like most people. It's Saturday and if I don't get sick off of what I just ate which wasn't filling at all I might possibly give it a NO star. Foods still digesting and IM STARViNG!!! (Think I'll order a Pizza.) The BBq spare ribs were Dry, Burnt and hardly had any meat let along taste. (Had to put my own sauce on them.) The pork fried rice was not only dry but, layers of flavors and NOT GOOD ONES. (The type of taste you question on what your eating that tastes like the smell of something SoiLED.) The Wonton soups broth tasted like drinking a bottle of water although the beef in the Wonton was some what acceptable. Finally the Noodle Chips were tasteless and Stale. Overall I hope this review helps the place out to better themselves NOT hurt them. Honesty is everything and I wish the...
Read moreI have taken out food many times here. I have been suspicious of the content of the General Tso’s chicken entree my family has eaten many times, as it is extremely heavily breaded. Upon dissection , I found that not only was there practically ZERO chicken, ALL breading, the one small fragment of chicken looks like dark meat or a tendon. The last three take out orders were incorrect. They were picked up at closing time. So frustrating not to be able to eat dinner beacuse they cannot get an order straight! When I finally demanded a small refund a few days later on the third order I was met with vitriol from the lady owner. I have also seen her being nasty to her children, making fun of them in front of customers. I will now avoid this place at all...
Read moreThe food was good; however, the hot and sour soup was NOT spicy as it's supposed to be. I also ordered my favorite lunch special, General Tso Chicken. This is the first Chinese restaurant that did NOT include broccoli with the General Tso dish. They also forgot the red hot Chinese peppers 🌶 that are always in General Tso chicken.
I've been to every Chinese restaurant except one in Hackettstown, and none of them are five-star restaurants. Each one may have something good about them; but none of them are as good as Ho-Ho's in Blairstown or Chun-Bo in Newton. I love Chinese food and would consider myself a great judge of good to great food. None of the Hackettstown area Chinese restaurants are great. Some are...
