My wife, daughter and myself decided to stop in and run thru McDonalds for some hot fries and hot apple pie for my daughter. She was on her 30 minute lunch break so needless to say we were in a bit of a hurry. We felt safe getting in and out quickly as there was only one other car in line ahead of us at 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon. I gave the greeter the code over the speaker and was asked to pull ahead to the first window. We were greeted with a friendly smile and was asked to pull on her head to the second window to pick up our order. When we got there we were again greeted with promptness and was asked to wait a moment. When the employee came back to the window she gave us a bag and said have a good day. We pulled out on Lexington Avenue and started heading back to take my daughter’s workplace and realized that her apple pie was not in the bag? I turned around in a nearby parking lot pulled back into the drive-through now with five cars in front of me and explain to the greeter on the speaker that we were missing an apple pie. I told him of the mistake and He said politely said, pull ahead and we will make it right. We explained the situation to the first window and asked for two additional pies for the inconvenience they told us to pull ahead and they would make it right. When we got to the second window they gave me another bag. I opened the bag to find the Apple pie we paid for plus one more and I said to the female employee in the window that I was told we were going to get one for each of us in the car total of three and she told me to be grateful that I got the one additional and shut the window on me . I thought to myself how rude and customer service skills were horrible. During these times of COVID when only drive is open, you’re (the customer) is definitely at the restaurant ‘s mercy. It seems the days of being polite and taking care of the customer...
Read moreMandatory "I've worked in customer service before" review. And I have, for 6 years. And every other time I go to this location you get served an attitude. I'm not one to complain about messed up food, but if you forget something I paid for I'm coming in.
I came right back in from the drive thru after they forgot my snack size mcflurry. You know, no big deal. Just give me what I paid for, and you didn't give me 20 seconds ago. I showed the receipt and they just looked around at the rest of the staff dumbfounded that anyone could forget an item. Without a word with the rest of the employees they turned back to me and asked me what i didn't recieve again. EXCUSE ME? I've already told you twice. Then they have the nerve to ask 'Are you sure it was a _?" Look, every customer isn't a crook. And I refuse to be treated like one. You forgot my snack sized cup of ice cream. I didn't come back in asking for free things.
Went in and the manager didn't even have a hat behind the counter and was sitting eating a cookie. Uhh, get away from my food you cow.
We ordered some mcnuggets, and the sign on the window said to ask about sauce. So we did, following the signs obvious instructions so we didn't waste order time. We got the most hideous look back from the window person, they practically threw us the sauce and said "next time order it at the board!"
I've had good service too. Like twice. This establishment is rubbish, and the corporate number is useless, because it has BUSINESS HOURS. I've tried calling multiple times and their survey wasn't even open for calls.
I'm glad mcdonalds are starting to slow down and go out of business 1 by 1. Hopefully this location is the first in the area to go.
EDIT: They're still awful, but it's the only thing open so... Still 1 star, but thanks...
Read moreUpdate on today's order since I can not post a new review. I ordered a table side order because I have a broken ankle. Waited 20 minutes they sat it up there and never brought it to my table. I asked them to remake it and the refused. Disputing the charge through my bank and never going through this franchise again ever. I WILL DRIVE 30 MINUTES OUT OF MY WAY TO GO TO ANOTHER MCDONALD'S NOT OWNED BY THESE GUYS. Guess I'll just be a loyal customer of Wendy's and Burker King locally from now on. Just WOW.
Yesterday I ordered 2 steak, egg and cheese mc muffins with breakfast sauce and they forgot the breakfast sauce. The manager said she would replace my sandwiches so I drove through again and told them about the replacement. They gave me 2 steak egg and cheese mc muffins with mayonnaise! I called the manager of the store she said they don't use any mayonnaise or white sauce in breakfast sandwiches. According to the companies website a mayonnaise like sauce is used for some of their breakfast sandwiches. The manager LIED to me! I have a picture of the sandwiches that shows white sauce and I'll be posting it in the photo section. Breakfast sauce is yellow!! She refused to replace my order. They think it's alright to mess up multiple orders but won't fix it to make it right. This is so frustrating. UNPROFESSIONAL...
