BEST ICE CREAM IN TOWN! They are all homemade and delicious. VERY affordable as well. I work in close proximity to this place and honestly it's hard to not get ice cream here everyday. The store offers an exciting assortment of Latin Foods. Many of which I have never tried before and it's fun to experience new flavors and textures of another culture ( Though I must admit I mainly come for the ice cream :) Definitely a unique local business that everyone should check out. I have really really really want to leave a fabulous review and support this place! Wonderful staff, Great Bobba's etc. But their prices are just not equal to the items you get for some of their products. Their ice-cream is way over priced for the stingy little scoop they give you. I pay the same amount down the street at Whit's and it is HEAPED on. Being from Texas/Mexico border I have been waiting for a Mercado that sells classic Tex-Mex goods, but they are so over priced, I just don't shop here as much as I would like to! I stopped by for the first time yesterday after visiting the botanical garden. My mom can’t have dairy, so we tried the fruit-based paletas. They had a big selection and the popsicles were fresh and absolutely delicious. We tried the strawberry mango and Mangonada flavors.
