sweetgreen — Restaurant in Mansfield

I am a longtime fan, and customer of Sweetgreen. In fact, I visited a couple of these establishments when they were brand new to MA, over 10 years ago. I moved south of Boston a few years back, and was a bit bummed to find out that there were none down this way (up until recently). I visited the Mansfield location for lunch on 12/16/24 (I believe a couple weeks after they finally opened). It was an awful experience all around. The service was atrocious. The place was empty with no line, and yet I still waited nearly 10 minutes to even be acknowledged. I ordered the Crispy Rice Bowl, and almost everything about it was incorrect. I've ordered this bowl on a number of different occasions, so I'm very familiar with what should be in it. It's on me for not paying close enough attention to what the employee was actually putting in the bowl, but the dressing was wrong, there was quinoa in it (instead of rice), and the chicken wasn't even really cooked. I realize that finding good help has become increasingly difficult, but when you're paying nearly $20 for a salad (or grain bowl) and a drink, the expectations should be a bit higher. Very disappointed, and am unlikely to ever revisit this location again, let alone another Sweetgreen...

If I could leave negative stars I would because the customer service doesn't deserve even one star. Rude staff. Last staff. Every single staff member was uninterested in working and openly expressed that. There were FOUR people on shift, it's not like they were short staffed. None of them concerned about working and were on their phones or talking to each other more time than the time they gave to their actual customers. I went online to look at the reviews curious to see if maybe this was just "a bad day" for this location. I can see from the reviews that's its not just a bad day. It's a bad staff. Consistently bad customer service, and they get your order wrong too because they don't care about the quality or integrity of their work. The other reviews I read...their orders were wrong and guess what...OUR WAS WRONG TOO. At this point I blame ownership because the other reviews I read they have many issues, it doesn't seem like a single thing has changed, and those reviews are weeks and months old. I will not come here again, and I will suggest to others to go elsewhere too. Try another sweet green if you really want it, don't waste your time here. ...

This is hands down the worst Sweetgreen I've ever gone to and it's brand new!. Never have I gotten the correct order. Not once, they always forget an ingredient or add ones you never asked for. and youre not going to drive all the way back. Never is the order ready. The app will say it's ready. You'll drive there and it was never started. Who is clicking away at these orders?? The employees ignore you if you walk in. It's cringe worthy. They legit ignore you in hopes you'll go away so they dont have to work. and the food quality pales in comparison to other Sweetgreen locations. the protein options are old food sitting around for a long time, chopped up any ol way. the chicken is a terrible piece of chewy chicken, skin and gristle still attached. The salmon is old hard chunks of repeatedly heated fish. I'll never be going back to this location and i suggest avoiding it unless they do something. It's a shame, I like Sweetgreen but this location needs new employees and a manager who gives a damn...
