Just had the worst experience I’ve ever had at the Manteno McDonalds. I ordered using a code off my app for a free happy meal, and one of the new Kit Kat McFlurrys . Was told my total was $5.30. I pull up to the window and they guy tells me my total again, I hand him a $20 and he handed me back $8 and some change and the receipt that showed my free happy meal was charged for. I tell him and he calls over the manager Brittany who was loudly singing about my McFlurry I just ordered. She immediately tells me there’s nothing she can do and has an attitude when I ask her to refund and re ring my order. She tried to tell me she couldn’t do that and then proceeded to do so when I asked why. I handed her the money the first guy gave me and the receipt. She then hands me back the money for only my happy meal, then gives me the pile of money I gave her back, so she kept the $5.30 I originally was supposed to pay. She then re rang me and told me my total was $0.30. I asked for what and she states for the up charge for my medium drink. I said I didn’t ask for a medium I just asked for an orange Hi-C. I would like whatever size the happy meal comes with. She tells me well I can’t help that this is what it’s charging you I can’t control it and starts getting super frustrated with me stating she knows what I ordered she’s the one who took my order. She then tells me to pull up and slams the window shut and pulls my receipt and drops it on the ground never handing me the receipt I gave her back or the new one. When I get to the window for my food the girl hands me the happy meal and drink but not my McFlurry. I said I’m missing my McFlurry, this is when Brittney comes flying to the window accusing me of wanting things I didn’t pay for. I stated to her I did pay for my McFlurry and I used my app for my free happy meal. I still paid $5.30 for my McFlurry that I’m owed. She then accused me of having an attitude so I ask for the corporate number as she never gave me my receipt, and she tells me she doesn’t know it off the top of her head and that I can google it. I said I wanted my receipt and she tells me no she can’t give it to me. I asked again for the receipt or the corporate number and she tells sorry at me and to make sure I spell her name right when I leave my review. Then she said I’m holding up the 4 people behind me and I need to pull up in the dark and she will come out with my receipt and starts screaming out the window past me “that if they (me) would pull up they can get their food” Idk what this managers problem was with me but she didn’t want to do her job, and was taking it out on me as the customer when I asked her to follow through and do what she was supposed to. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the many other McDonalds you can stop at and avoid this location at all costs. I hope the region manager pulls the footage of this interaction around...
Read moreDrop day of the Cactus Plant Flea Market Boxes ( aka the adult happy meal) waited in the drive thru line excitedly and asked the polite lady taking my order if they infact had all the different toys ( specifically one of each to get the whole set, this is the only reason I went) I was told yes they did and I asked if I could purchase just the toy instead of the whole 10$ box, unfortunately that’s not possible and I was willing to drop $45.64 for 4 adult happy meals just to get this set and I was told in the drive thru while ordering that this WAS POSSIBLE just remind them at the window. We got our food in the regular brown McDonalds bags not the advertised boxes and being McDonald’s we parked and checked our bags to ensure we did infact receive one of each especially at the steep price. We got 2 GRIMACE and 2 BIRDIE needless to say I took in one of each of the duplicates to exchange them. What I assume to be the manager that night immediately attacked me when she saw the toy bags in hang. She didn’t ask my problem she immediately assumed and said that they were not going to exchange them and feel thru the toys ( I also did not know before purchase that they were in white almost opaque bags you’d have to shine a flashlight thru and feel ) I simply began to ask then why was I told in drive thru before purchasing and SHE CUT ME OFF AND DIDNT EVEN LET ME FINISH which led to me literally having to yell over her just to finish my sentence. She didn’t want to listen to problem or why they don’t have actual communication among staff I would understand not wanting to feel for toys especially when they were moderately busy but atleast listen to your customers problems, she didn’t offer any solution to the problem, I demanded a refund if I wasn’t going to get what I ordered one of each and she said that was fine, went back to the car grabbed the bags and just they way she sifted thru them as if I had stolen the other toys was ridiculous because that’s all she was looking for cause immediately when she found the remaining two she stopped. What a waste of food and all it would’ve taken was finding the two other toys which I would’ve sorted thru myself at the counter if it was such a hassle for them or just simply asking me if I wanted a refund instead of offering no solution to the problem they created by telling me I could get one of each. I waited in the drive thru line and gave my code to a very friendly lady and continued to the 1st window where the nice lady from the speaker was and she gave me my receipt and I continued to the second window after the truck infront of me left. I was handed my bag as I was told my order and left. I looked in the bag on my way home to find a blueberry muffin and nothing else?? So I turned around and waited in line to explain to the nice lady at the speaker my situation and to her shock from what I told her about what I received as my supposed order she asked me to go to the second window where I explained again what happened to a Spanish manager who only cared to ask if I wanted the Blueberry muffin when I showed her what I had received being completely wrong and missing my McGriddle and Fritter. I said "No" but knew they would just throw away so I kept it. I was handed my correct order without as much as a apology ( wasn't wanting free food or a refund ) and I left. This was at 8:10 am and they were not busy. Please train employees to read what they are preparing because it's not that hard to look at a screen and bag a order.
