This has turned into one of the worst Wendy’s I’ve ever been to. Service has been consistently awful here ever since COVID, even as almost every other business has bounced back to some degree. Today I placed an order through the app and selected Carryout so I wouldn’t have to wait 20 minutes in the drive-thru, which is the norm here. When I arrived around 3:00 PM, the door was locked (even though the inside had just been open the day before. It’s 2023 - why are we still going drive-thru only?). I called and asked why I had to wait 20 minutes in the drive-thru while my food gets cold when the app said Carryout was available? The employee tried to claim my food wasn’t cold and hadn’t been made yet, which would be true if I had selected Drive-Thru as my pickup option. But I chose Carryout and had already gotten the notification that my points balance had been updated - which only happens after an order is complete. And sure enough, my burger was ice cold by the time I got it (of course it was also wrong, missing the customizations). This all could’ve been avoided if the app said Carryout wasn’t available, and in all fairness, maybe the restaurant can’t control that (though they definitely should be able to). Regardless, that doesn’t excuse the routinely long wait times - I was able to type all this up while sitting in the drive-thru. I’m sure some of the employees are trying their best, but until this location improves, I’m...
Read moreThe most unprofessional service I've ever had in any environment. Rolled up, ordered, and immediately got attitude from the person taking the order. Pulled to the window, someone came out from the back and basically threw the food at me - I tried to ask for ketchup (which was not in the bag, but asked for in response to "what sauce do you want", but was ignored and the window closed. I sat there a good 3 minutes until the woman right next to the window opened it and stared at me. Mind you, I'm like an overly nice person - I say thank you for literally anything and everything, I smile, and just generally try to be kind to everyone I interact with, especially anyone I can see having a hard time, even if they are mean to me as a result. I say "can I please have some ketchup?", She rolls her eyes and gives me 2 ketchup packets (for 2 meals) and closes the window, pretending not to hear me yell "excuse me" (nicely). I wait again - this time I get the big attitude. What an absolutely miserable and unprofessional crew working at this location.
Needless to say, we're not eating the food. Not only do I not trust people that treat customers like that, but my daughter opened her lid to her drink and found something floating in...
Read moreReally didn't want to have to leave a nasty review but do not recommend mobile ordering to this location EVER especially during the last hour of operation. You will likely be told "they lost your order" and to cancel it. Then when you can't cancel it, your card will still be charged, the manager will refuse to look at your digital receipt or listen to you verbally provide the order confirmation, and you get no food and no refund, are arbitrarily told to call some customer care #. Wendy's Corporate's "solution" to taking $15 from me for not delivering what I paid for, was a $20 mobile coupon that expires in 30 days, because there was a "system error and they couldn't see the orders". The solution should quite obviously be to disable mobile orders instead of effectively stealing people's money. I'm actually so flabbergasted by this experience and the stonewalling of corporate to refund me my money but I feel others should be warned. Others on Yelp have reported the same thing at this specific loc, being told their mobile order "got lost" and having to re-pay. Never seen that anywhere else before. In conclusion: drive the extra few minutes...
