Went to a wonderful little spot in Manve, to meet my in-laws . The name of this establishment was: Brisas TexMex. There is a large wooden patio in the front and a small dining area inside. The service was good and the food was even better; from the homemade tortillas, to the homemade guacamole, everything was served hot and fresh. I had the crispy tacos and my wife had the large nachos with chili con queso. The kids had quesadillas and tacos pastor. Also, the refried beans are totally authentic. I did a bathroom check and the bathroom was clean and well managed.. If you are driving down hwy 6 in Manvel stop by and tell them yourmustachman sent you! 4 out of 5 mustaches. The service could have been a little bit better. I deducted one star. Love small businesses…

Brisa's is not the polished eating spot you have in mind, but it's a place with decent food. I went in with an open mind because I read some of the negative reviews so I wasn't sure what to expect. I liked it. Nothing spectacular and unique about the place but at the same time nothing bad about it. Pros: 1. Quaint little place that gives you a hole-in-the-wall yet comfortable feeling. 2. Food is alright. I got Barbacoa tacos and I liked it. 3. Affordable price and good quantity. Cons: 1. Easy to miss if you're driving down Hwy 6. 2. Limited parking in the front and I did not check if they have parking in the back.

I usually come in here for breakfast tacos every now & then. I usually don't sit down and eat, when I have the service has been good so no complaint there. Anyway, so when I had pulled up one day I parked behind this one truck in the front not really paying attention that the signs pointed to the back to park. I just parked behind someone else's truck to run in and run out. Well someone couldn't get out which was obviously my fault BUT the lady that I believe owns Brisa's or whoever she is freaking yells out into the restaurant "WHOS TRUCK IS THAT!!?" And I had said "oh I'm sorry I'll move it". And she continues to yell at me about parking there when I didn't really know not to. I had just parked behind someone else. I don't know, the other employees from what I have seen are extra nice, but she is super rude & loud. She's been rude to my friends as well. They had gone in one day to sit with friends and didn't purchase anything so they were told they would have to leave and were not allowed to eat chips and dip. Ive gone in the plenty of restaurants and say down with someone just to eat chips & maybe get a drink but that's about it AND never been told to leave because I didn't purchase anything. Regardless of the service that one time I still eat their tacos, their food is delicious & I've never had any problems with anyone else just the lady that's there like 24/7. I recommend take out just so you don't have to deal with...

We always went to Brisa's to eat Mexican food and get breakfast tacos. But lately the tacos have gotten very small and the last supper visit will be the last. My granddaughter only wanted fajita meat beans and torts on a sizzle platter. She was served 6 very small pieces of fajita meat beans and 3 torts in a cold plate. We were charged 13.95 which is ridiculous for what she got. The rest of the food was not very good either. We ended up paying $60.00 for 4 people to eat. We got nothing fancy. Needless to say we will not be giving them our business ever again. The only positive this place has going for it is BJ the waitress who was getting off as we went in. I feel bad for her because they work her to death for very little pay. So to the owners, ya'll lost very frequent customers because of the unwillingness to compromise on the food and service we received...

HARD PASS. This place was nasty. The chips were stale, the salsa was flavorless, and that was the highlight of the meal. The soda tasted funny, which is never a good sign (gag). The "queso" was what I can only describe as warm, yellowed, skim milk. It was literally loose and watery. We didn't dip but maybe three chips in and left it. As we were leaving the waiter had the gall to ask if we wanted something to take it home in, as if we were just too full the entire meal to touch that nasty stuff. The main courses were small serving sizes. The beef fajita was burnt to a crisp and the quesadillas were soggy and sad. The rice tasted old and the beans were a strange whiteish brown color and tasted of paste. Looking at these other reviews, something is up. I don't know, maybe the boss was on vacation because all of this was...
