Lickety Splitz Handcrafted Ice Cream — Restaurant in Maple Shade Township

I was dying to give this place a try and finally went the other night. They have quite the variety of flavors that I never knew existed which was a plus. But the service I must say was definitely not the best. I was there with my sister and there was 2 women ahead of us, given it was young girls behind the counter which I can understand having fun at work like talking, playing on their phones etc. but the amount of time I waited for my cup of ice cream with 2 scoops was ridiculously long. They gave my sister her cone after about 10mins of waiting then brought mine out about 10 mins after that. I just couldn’t understand how or why when no one was there it would take sooo long to get a cup of ice cream.

I will definitely give this place another try to see if the experience can be better, it could have just been a bad night. But after looking forward to try them out for so long and then being disappointed it was just a big let down. But I’m not going to let that one bad experience deter...

Delicious ice cream and friendly service. There are so many flavors to choose from. A cool thing they have is alcohol infused ice cream (“sinful”), but I stick with the “sweet” flavors. Another cool thing they offer is an ice cream flight, which is 4 different cups, so you can try 4 flavors at once! In this one pictured, I got campfire s’mores, peanut butter cup, double dough, and key lime pie. All were delicious! I also won free ice cream for a year on National Ice Cream Day, so will be trying every flavor for the next year. 😄 it’s also connected to a bowling alley, so play a few games, and then go get some ice cream! They also host parties there. There is seating indoors, and a nice outdoor seating...

Love their alcohol infused ice cream, it's such a unique concept! The staff was friendly and helpful too. My favorite is the whiskey flavor. Unfortunately during my most recent visit, the ice cream seemed a bit too frozen as if it wasn't created fresh and had been sitting for a couple days since the peanut butter inside the ice cream was hard and crunchy. And the cherry amaretto flavor had too many almonds in it that the flavor was lost. Couldn't really taste the alcohol in the chocolate sauce on my sundae this time either. Might have been because we went later on a Friday night but was hoping for an experience like the first time when I was really impressed 6...
