I wish I can give zero stars. First off, I was in the mood for Popeyes for lunch today. Mind you lunch is 30 minutes so I clocked out of work and drove about five minutes to the closest Popeyes. once I got there went to the drive-through and attempted to order my food and my coworkers food. Five minutes later pull up to the main window where I was greeted by a teenager who looked like he definitely didn’t want to work there. I had to go through my order several times in order to get them to charge me correctly. Followed by waiting - I got my food and had to almost climb out of my window to grab the bag because the teenager wasn’t extending his hands far enough to help me out and meet me halfway. After telling them several times, not only at the ordering screen, but also at the window that I only wanted white meat. Received my food and then I was waiting for one drink told the teenager hey you’re missing a drink he says no I’m not and I say how did I order two large combinations and only receive one drink. After for a while, he says you’re right. Five minute drive into 35 minutes to get back to work and realize that my coworker and I both had dark meat . Immediately called the store and was greeted by the same rude manager.Mehziak I believe I have his name spelled incorrectly. I specifically told him my issues and the fact that they still gave me dark meat. Then I followed up with please understand that I want my money back however, I am not able to leave work again until my clock out time at 4 PM. Unfortunately, the manager was so pissed off that he did rushed me off the phone and hung up on me. Now 4:15 PM and I drive over to Popeyes with my receipt to ask for my money back. I am greeted by another employee who is now being very sassy and rude baffled as to why I wanted my money back. After minutes of going back-and-forth and showing him that I did call at 11:33 in the morning the manager who was on the phone with me who took my order comes up and this is him. They both start back-and-forth and tell me well, where is your food? Walk back to the car and I grabbed the bag of food that I had because unfortunately it wasn’t what I wanted. I’m being forced to get more food from the same people who couldn’t get my order correct in the first place.. the manager who first dealt with end up just giving me the cash and not even doing the return. Even though I didn’t bring my coworkers food back, which she threw away unfortunately I only received the credit for one order and I was left baffled by the fact that I had to explain myself and show that I called and just continue to be harassed by the same people who couldn’t get my order in the first place. I wish I can explain the amount of aggressiveness, tone, and hassling that I had to deal with as it was absolutely ridiculous. please note no matter how much I am craving Popeyes you will never get my service again. Much success with...
Read moreI had a bad experience at this location a few days ago. The person who appeared to be the manager (dressed in business attire rather than a uniform) seemed unconcerned with cleanliness and health standards. I observed him drop tongs on the floor, operate the cash register, answer the phone than fill food orders all without changing his one gloved hand. The situation worsened when he used the same gloved hand (keep in mind that hes only wearing 1 glove), which had touched the register and phone to now fill a large box of fries. Yes, he did use the scooper, but once the fries were in the box he used that dirty gloved hand to press down and reposition the fries on the top so that he could close the box lid. Additionally, fries that fell onto the counter were picked up with that same dirty, contaminated glove and tossed back into the basket with freshly cooked fries.
I've never been huge fan of Popeyes and haven't visited in a while, but this visit has definitely deterred me from returning especially to the location. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience, so potential customers should be cautious. Always watch the works handling your food.
Side note....just because you have on gloves or in this case 1 glove doesn't mean that the glove will stay clean. They need to be changed between activites. If you answer a phone, deal with the register, pickup a dirty item please change the gloves before returning to handling food. This is how people get sick. Also, why only one glove? That was the first issue which made me watch him harder than...
Read moreI'm aware this popeyes has had management changes in the past yr. But its time to get orders correct. Ordered today 8pc :2lg 2thigh2breast 2wings original recipe. Get home recieved 3legs 2wings 1breast 2thighs. Receipt printout states the specific pc in package. That didnt happen.3errors /3visits in 1 month. For future this popeyes need to state to customers if a breast pc not available we need to substitute. Its the customers choice. Speed and timing to get drive thru cleared should be secondary. The store opened at 1030. How do you not have cooked enough.its close to lunch time. Slip stamp 11:15 Called and spoke to manager today :Resolved nothing. Could have taken my order # time stamp etc. offered atleast a substitute for errors but thats to much like right. Customer service is an important factor and should be upheld on your end as well. Chking orders before leaving the drive thru can cause a problem . If this is happing to me its happening to other. You want the business and you're in a hot zone . The least you could do when customers are on lunch break or driving by is get the order correct. You have plenty time to speak to customer before payment made if there is going to be a discrepancy. Think about it :you want what you paid for. The expectancy is nothing less. Appreciate allowing choice of pc to be made But that definitely does not solve mistakes. Hoping this popeyes/ corp looks into and acknowledge that its not your practice to do random substitution of...
