Bill & Harry's — Restaurant in Maplewood

Very rude customer service and liars. First I called the restaurant to for information regarding a menu item. I was rudely answered by a women who called herself Esty. Esty was very short and even hung up on me. I then proceed to order for delivery ,a very expensive meal and after placing my order Esty called me back and said that I must tip the driver or she would cancel the order. When I told her that I did not see a tip option she became belligerent and began yelling at me. During our call I looked over the website to find out that that there was not any clause that said tips were mandatory and that they charge a delivery fee “to support their drivers.” I ask to speak to the manager and Esty began to scream louder at me. As a long time member of the Mapso community I would not recommend anyone to support this restaurant as their practices feel predatory and they lack a degree of community respect and decorum. Lady behind counter was not friendly and food was not so great - ended up donating the food. Ordered steamed veg dumplings and they were just doughy with very little vegetables. The string beans were just steamed with no taste. One person working - lady took order in unfriendly fashion -same lady cooked food quickly and delivered to me in the restaurant for take out. Not sure how the bhuddist delight turned up because got it for someone else. Also if I order two dishes - don’t combine my white rice in one container thinking it’s going to the same place - separate it by order - don’t be cheap on containers. Did not put napkins or forks in bag until I asked and did not have plates. Will not be going back. Spent $35.03 as a donation I guess. I should have known something was wrong by the name - I did not see a bill or harry. Lol. Good...
