It’s so hard to find a good pizza these days. Seems like there’s so many shops but they all taste the same. I decided to try this one I saw on Door Dash. It wasn’t in my area but it’s not far away. So why not ? I was very surprised. It has a familiar taste from childhood. And that’s going back a long way. Their crust is not thick but not too thin either. The sauce is tart yet sweet. The cheese, and I ordered extra, was completely melted. The pie was not burnt. They managed to make my day. We enjoyed. ** Since this first review, we ordered several times. Things have not been right. 9/21/25, Today, I ordered a pie with extra cheese and half sausage. The sausage was pretty much thrown on haphazardly. I’m a vegetarian and so I do not eat sausage nor do I pull it off and eat the rest. Uber eats gave me a refund. I basically had 2 slices that I could eat. Not only was this beyond frustrating, our dessert too was wrong. I ordered a tiramisu and raspberry crumb cake. They didn’t have the raspberry cake and gave me tres leches which I feel is disgusting. It’s a sloppy cake. They wrote sorry on the container. This is unacceptable and I took the rating down from 5 stars to 2 . Please pay attention to what you’re doing and contact the customer if there’s a missing item. Don’t substitute. How do you know what I can eat ?? Really disappointed …. 📍I just read the restaurants reply to me. I was not contacted at all. They claim they contacted 3 times. That’s a lie. Where is the voice message ? There is non because it didn’t happen. They should not have substituted. They also claim the reviews should be be fair. This is fair. This my review. This is my experience. They have no right to tell me how I should review just because it’s not in their favor. They were sloppy with the sausage. They were WRONG in substituting the cake. Take responsibility. Read moreFor the past few months this has been my go-to spot for a pretty solid pizza and Italian dishes. Their mussels with marinara are incredible. However, yesterday (10/25/2024) I ordered a Caprese salad which was part of the weekly special menu. It looked amazing in the menu pictures on Uber Eats and with it still technically being tomato season I figured it was worth a try. Boy, was I wrong. It was absolutely PATHETIC. It was a sorry small foil container with sprinkles of ARUGULA (not fresh basil), 4 slices of mozzarella, and 5-6 slices of a plum tomato. In the menu’s picture, the salad looked robust and had a variety of tomatoes (including heirlooms) but what I received wasn’t even a Caprese salad. I would’ve preferred if they just told me the item was sold out or reached out to me to ask if I wanted something else rather than sell me that garbage for 15$. They also put it in the bag with a hot dish so the salad was warm and the cheese was partially melted. I took one bite and tossed it. The Zuppa di Pesce I ordered with it was delicious (the only reason why this review is 2 stars), but because this restaurant doesn’t have enough integrity or respect for customers to be honest about what they’re selling, I probably won’t be a regular here any longer.

Read moreI rarely leave reviews, but this is how much this experience ruined my evening. I made an online order yesterday (Valentine's Day) at 6:30pm for a 7:45pm delivery time. I received a notification at 7:20pm that the order was on its way. At 8pm, I didn't receive the pizza yet. So I called the restaurant and they mentioned they were busy and to wait an additional 20-25 minutes. By 8:25pm the order was still not there. I got in contact with customer service via Slice and they attempted to call the restaurant multiple times on my behalf. When I finally got through to someone at the restaurant they mentioned they were busy and that the driver left a while ago. As I was calling Slice to attempt to get a refund they mentioned that the restaurant would only give a 20% off discount because the driver was still on the way.......My pizza finally arrived at 9:15 pm and it was cold......I had to reheat the pizza I ordered.....I can understand a restaurant being busy on a day like Valentine's Day, no problem, but to wait 2 hours for an order and hardly being able to get through to anyone on the phone is beyond frustrating. I also see there was another customer in the reviews who also waited 2 hours yesterday. This is my second and last time ordering here and I hate that I have to leave...
