McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Maplewood

Not happy about this location. They screwed up my online order over 10 times, and 2 dine-in order that I can recall. I have come here monthly since it first opened. Every time they messed up, I requested a resolution. Each time, they failed to do so. Manager is not helpful, not offer help, nor apologetic of repeating errors. One time I was overcharged, they attempted to refund the overcharged amount but it never took. Even though they assured me that it’s just taking time to show up as credit. Checked few statements later, it never was credited, unable to dispute. Mobile order for pick-up is horrible. It’s either they forgotten to put all my orders in the bag, wrong item, out of item that was ordered, order wasn’t taken correctly, charged for wrong item, etc. Often times, error is not found until I got home and ready to eat. I filed a complaint for faulty app, no one ever responded. If you must eat here, do not use mobile order. Personally, I will never return again. I have said this every time they mess up my order, but always tell myself to give them another chance. Well, about a dozen times later, they no longer deserve another chance. They use deceptive practices at the counter when ordering, and I have no doubt they are trained by corporate to do so. It all started with a simple "choose 2" meal, seemingly harmless on it's own at $9.59, I got a half sandwich and side of soup, the employee asked if I wanted a pickle spear, not disclosing it cost an extra $1.50! I then ordered a soda, again the employee didn't ask what size, not that they have many with the only sizes being too small and too big, but the employee just automatically charged me for biggest soda I've ever seen in my life at $3.69! of course I had to have a cookie so I grabbed one, which didn't have a price tag on it, but it's a small cookie it can't be that much right? Wrong! $2.25! Of course as you order there is no customer facing display to show the cost of anything, so in the end my humble 'Choose 2" meal cost a walled draining $18.58! I will never ever go back to McAlister's Deli, not only because of the prices but the food was...

please avoid. I placed a catering order and then needed to add to it. I called the location and after going back and fourth for over 15 minutes they told me to call in the morning and they would add to it.

I called for two hours when someone finally answered and said "Oops I didn't mean to answer" I said I needed a manager in regards to my order. Manager got on the phone and they said they had transferred my order.

Catering calls me and says they can not add to my order because the order is already on the way and they refused to send another driver.

Then the regional manager calls me says to put the order in on the app and he will make sure they deliver the order correctly. After another 30 minutes order arrives and IT IS THE WRONG ORDER. I call Maplewood where this order came from and was put on hold for 20 minutes with no manager coming to the phone. Hung up to call back to speak with someone and they will not...
