UPDATED further disappointed: actually made it inside this time, but the system would not allow my gift card to work. Had to pay out of pocket, and was overcharged for add-ons that I never ordered. To be fair, the young ladies each took the time to try and help me with my issues, but were either not very knowledgeable or just stuck in an outdated, non user friendly system. At the very least, I wanted to fill out the survey to get a free dilly bar for next time, and the website wouldn’t even allow me to proceed after entering my 19 digit receipt code. So I ended up overpaying out of pocket for a mediocre blizzard. I would avoid this location at all costs until DQ updates their system or at least trains/treats their young employees better.
Arrived at 7:50pm to grab a sweet treat for my wife who was having a bad day. Doors are already locked, despite not closing until 8. I was in awe when they called out the man waiting cone order. I seriously thought he was just chilling, watching something on his phone. I would have demanded a refund at this point, if I were he. The manager rang up my BOGO blizzards at full price even though the promotion was advertised on the menu board behind him. I didn’t realize the mistake until after the blizzards were made. Once I received the blizzards, I asked the worker behind the counter about the mistake I noticed and was told that it was up to me to mention the BOGO price and there was nothing they could do to correct the issue. The manager could have easily corrected the issue by refunding the blizzards in full, ringing them up at the BOGO price, and then refunding the difference. This did not happen.
